Description

Surrounded by stunning countryside views near the Angus Glens, is The Property, a stylish one bed apartment built on top of the owners garage, in the north east of Scotland. The apartment is in the village of Kirkbuddo, near Forfar amid agricultural fields, with amenities being a short drive away, this property would be best suited to a couple for a quiet break. Up a set of stone steps and through the glass doors, you enter the apartment and into the open-plan living space, where you can flop down onto the stylish vintage sofa to watch a film after a day of walking the Glens or perhaps just prop the door open and take in the peaceful views of the fields below. Despite the small and compact size, you will still find everything you need in the kitchen area, with a combi microwave-oven and two-ring induction hob available to prepare some simple meals, and even a dining table for two, so save one of your nights for a romantic evening meal at the apartment, and afterwards watch the sun set from the patio. To the back of the property, a pretty double bedroom awaits, with velux windows fitted to bring in the natural light, and home to the en-suite shower room with basin and WC. Local amenities lie a short car journey away at Forfar, a nearby town that has several shops, pubs and supermarkets, or head to the monthly farmers' market if it's on to see the best local produce the market town has to offer. If you're a keen golfer, then head down to Carnoustie - about a 7-mile trip - home to Carnoustie Golf Links course that often hosts the Open Championship, where many famous golfers have been before. There's another great day out to be had in Dundee, Scotland's fourth city which has undergone recent redevelopment, and with the city being set upon the Tay estuary, what better way to enjoy the city than a boat trip with bottlenose dolphins and seals being regular visitors to the estuary, keep your eyes peeled and hopefully spot some! Affording you a perfect base from which to explore this spectacular area, you can look forward to returning every night to The Property, your haven under the stars. You can also take time out to visit the popular V&A Dundee. EPC Rating: Band C
