Follow the steep cottage stairs up to the first floor to find two further twin bedrooms, each with their own unique take on tradition, with delightful prints and a quaint elegance throughout. On clear, sunny days spend time out in the lovely south-facing garden, relaxing under the sun at the outdoor furniture, with your canine companions at your side. Although positioned right in the centre of Kailzie Gardens, Coachman’s Cottage still feels secluded, whilst benefitting from full access to the beautiful gardens along with the walks around the estate, 18-hole putting greens, and trout fishing during the spring and summer months on the River Tweed. The heart of the town lies in the main high street found on a spur of land between the River Tweed and Eddleston Water, home to an array of fine shops, the Tweeddale Museum and Gallery, John Buchan Story Museum and the Eastgate Theatre. Enjoy a morning walk over to the ruins of Horsburgh Castle, or for a more energetic ramble head into the beautiful Glentress Forest for idyllic woodland scenery, with more fun to be found at Glentress Mountain Bike Trail Centre and Go Ape Glentress.
