This regal, country house is set over three floors and rests in a peaceful countryside location just outside of the market town of Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire.

Whether it is the large, enticing sitting room with comfortable seating, a TV and a warming woodburner, or the huge quieter sitting room where you can take some time to yourself to read a book in peace.

The breakfast kitchen boasts a country house feel, providing all of the necessary appliances, the heart of which is an four oven oil-fired AGA cooker and a rustic wooden breakfast table where you can drink your morning coffee before the day begins.

Bring the group together in the formal dining room, with its huge antique furniture, and a table for all twenty guests to enjoy eating before the inglenook fireplace.

Head through the maze of stairways and levels to find your bedroom; all ten are spacious and finished in a vintage fashion with characterful features and antiques throughout to make you feel at home.

Four of the bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities, whilst there are two extra family bathrooms for you to get ready in.

You will never be stuck for things to do here at Hilltop, on a rainy day you can take yourself off to the external games room which comes complete with its own kitchen, pool table and a woodburning stove.

On the sunnier days, the children and pets can run and play in the extensive lawns available and take a swim in the freestanding, above ground swimming pool, whilst you can sit and watch on from the patio area with a refreshing glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views over unspoilt countryside.

Tenbury Wells is the ideal base for your group holiday as it offers a selection of amenities as well as a museum and a swimming pool to keep the younger ones busy.

Further afield you can explore the charming market town of Ludlow, or for a more active pastime head to the Shropshire or Malvern Hills for seemingly endless walking and cycling paths.

Tenbury Wells is a charming, ancient market town situated on the banks of the River Teme in Worcestershire. Dating back to the Iron Age and said to have been called 'my little town in the orchard' by Queen Victoria, Tenbury Wells boasts a unique 18th century bridge built by Thomas Telford, the magnificent Pump Rooms, which housed baths where local mineral water was available, and many other listed buildings dating back to the 17th century. This bustling town has many individual shops, traditional pubs, cafes and tea rooms and plays host to many festivals throughout the year notably the Applefest in October and Holly and Mistletoe around Christmas. It is home to weekly craft and farmers’ markets and a fully restored Art Deco cinema with a full programme of events. Ludlow, with its famous castle, is one of the most beautiful towns in Britain offers a medieval street pattern, which remains almost intact and provides an amazing backdrop for the town's regular markets. Renowned for its shopping, Ludlow also has high quality restaurants, excellent tea shops and pubs. Also within easy reach is Church Stretton, known as Little Switzerland, the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, Leominster, Hereford and Shrewsbury, as well as the Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall and Hay-on-Wye, famous for its annual Literary Festival in May/June. A bit further afield are Offa's Dyke, the Malvern hills and the Brecon Beacon's. This is an ideal base for exploring the area.
