Description

Abersoch is a 15 minute drive away. Enjoying a secluded rural spot in Botwnnog on the stunning Llyn Peninsula is this large detached cottage, The Property, offering the perfect setting for a fabulous family holiday in North Wales. Discover adventure on the shores of Abersoch and Aberdaron, exciting sailing at Pwllheli and unspoilt walking country on this peninsula, with The Property awaiting you to return each day as a spacious and homely base. Enter in through the brightly lit conservatory dining room, enjoying an abundance of light; this room is perfect for morning breakfasts and lively evening meals. Head into the kitchen/diner where another dining area awaits, with an electric Range cooker to make use of for a family favourite meal and many other appliances. Step into the social hub of the property, the lovely sitting room where a woodburning stove sits in the corner to warm you as you relax on one of the five soft plush seats and enjoy some TV or just great conversation in the evening. A perfect spot for a quiet moment or a haven for the children is the snug room where two more sofas sit with an electric fire and a TV with games console. Discover three bedrooms on the ground floor; a superb room with a king-size bed, with elegant iron frame beds and pretty decor throughout all the bedrooms, as well as a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom too. Feel refreshed in either of the two ground-floor shower rooms, with the first enjoying a large double shower enclosure. Head up the first set of stairs onto the first floor to find a family bathroom as well as a lovely single bedroom and a twin bedroom, located in the old cottage section of the property. Follow the stairs back down, head along the corridor and up a second staircase to find the double bedroom, and the most impressive of them all, a wonderful super-king-size bedroom with pretty views and a dressing table. A beautiful garden surrounds the property with lawns and a patio with plenty of seating, as well as access to 7-acres of grounds including idyllic woodlands for guests to explore. Head down to Abersoch Beach, a beautiful sheltered location popular for windsurfing and sailing, with plenty of amenities in the village including shops, bars and pubs. Six popular circular walks begin from Abersoch, ranging from less than a mile to over nine miles, so you can be sure to find a walk to suit all, or explore the beauty of the village by pony trekking, taking a boat trip from the harbour or popping into the craft centre. Make your own pilgrimage down to Aberdaron, the land's end and the last stop for pilgrims making their way to Bardsey Island or the 'Isle of 20,000 Saints’, which is now an amazing National Nature Reserve with an abundance of birdlife. Enjoy a walk along the coast and take in the stunning views of the Mynydd Mawr headland, and stop in at Porth y Swnt, the National Trust's interpretation centre that delves into the Llyn's unique landscapes, seascapes, and cultural heritage. A trip to the unofficial capital of the Llyn Peninsula must be made with Pwllheli boasting a beautiful beach, a bustling market town and being a centre for sailing and watersports with one of the best marinas in the UK. Try something new on holiday and enjoy a fun watersports activity, head out sailing or stop by when one of the sailing regattas is in full swing to see some fabulous competitions. Whatever you choose to enjoy on your North Wales holiday, delight in returning each day to the comfort of The Property with your loved ones.
