The unique selling point of this luxury holiday house is the stunning round house section. It is similar to Dr Who’s Tardis as it seems much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. It is a large space, with a large dining table and chairs on one side, with the seating area on the other side. Here you will find 3 large 3-seater sofas set in a U-shape towards the flat-screen TV and overlooking the garden beyond. With a high roof and impressive antler candelabra above, this is a room for show and can be used as a party room, dining room or sitting room, depending on your requirements. With under-floor heating throughout this is a warm house and if you do require further living space, a secondary sitting room is located on the first floor. Again there are comfortable stylish sofas and another flat-screen TV for your enjoyment.

Whilst there are other entry points into the house, most people will access the building through into the kitchen, via the utility space. The kitchen is a bright modern space with windows all along one side, with a central work island and plenty of work surfaces on the black granite. The cooking is done via the induction hobs and the Miele ovens, though there is also a Rayburn cooker which can be used if required. A country style kitchen table and chairs provides space for breakfasting or casual suppers.

The main dining space is located within the impressive round room. A long table can seat up to 10 people in great style in this room, with the table having the capacity to extend to seat up to 20 people, if you have booked the house next door. In the summer months, garden furniture is provided for those wishing alfresco dining with a BBQ.

CATERING OPTIONS
If you wish In-House Catering to prepare full Scottish Breakfast then add a supplement of £20 per person per day to the cost of your booking.  The owners can arrange a Chef to prepare dinner for your group from £55 per person. All catering costs are payable direct to the owner. 

Situated in a rural location in a cluster of 3 houses accessed by a shared drive, surrounded by fields and strips of forestry, makes this a pleasant location to be based whilst in Fife. The grounds are fully enclosed and include two distinctive areas for parking, with a substantial lawn to enjoy in the summer months. A hot tub is located here and always proves popular. Located 44 miles north east of Edinburgh and only 7 miles from St Andrews, makes this a wonderful venue to explore the East Neuk of Fife and the Home of Golf. No trip to Fife would be complete without having crossed the famous Swilcan Bridge on the Old Course, but there is so much more as well.

Private Driving Range

This luxury holiday rental most certainly caters for the golfer.  In order to improve your short game skills, before visiting one of the great golf courses in nearby St Andrews, a Short Game Area was designed and built in the grounds by a golf professional.  There are 3 pitching mats, 9 holes and two bunkers, offering the opportunity to practice a variety of shots on your very own private practice area. The owners are also delighted to offer their private 250-yard driving range on the Estate for all guests to use.

Complimentary Transport

One complimentary return luxury transport per day excluding the festive period. The owners'16-seater or 8-seater vehicles are available to guests requiring transfers to and from your golfing / social tour destination should the party split within the St Andrews / East Neuk area. This is complimentary for stays of three nights or more and must be booked in advance, any additional social runs are chargeable.

The daily complimentary transport hours are between 08.00 and 20.00 hours seven days a week. The owners cannot guarantee any specific transfer times during busy periods.

For family entertainment there is a local Deer Centre and Deep Sea World is a great day out. Falkland Palace, Dunfermline Abbey and the historic buildings in St Andrews are all a must. Then there are the beaches, include Roome Bay at Crail, and the pretty harbour villages in Fife, plus easy access by train into Edinburgh for day trips.

Stag and Hen bookings may not book this property, unless discussed in advance for approval. Neither the Owner nor the Agent will accept any liability should a booking be confirmed as a consequence of non-disclosure of the above which may later result in a booking cancellation by the Owner. Guests wishing to make use of the hot tub are asked to fill out a Hot Tub Disclaimer Form. Access to the Hot Tub will be denied unless the host is in receipt of a signed copy of this form.
