If you're after something exclusive to host a large group of friends, this well appointed holiday home overlooking a stunning stretch of Loch Lomond could be just the ticket. 

Nestled in mixed woodland on a private estate this spectacular family home, built in the 1820's has been lovingly restored to 21st century standards.  Much care has been taken to provide guests with the modern touch necessary to enjoy a holiday in comfort, without compromising its historic Gothic charm. The electric entrance gates and ample parking provide guests with utmost privacy. 

This property has everything one can think of to keep groups of all ages entertained, from the lower floor gym, games room, playroom and cinema room to the outdoor 7 seater hot tub. 

With easy access to Glasgow, you can escape to the hills in time for sundowners on the large outdoor terrace and kick off your holiday in style.

  • It'll be hard not to find a peaceful spot given the number of reception and break-out rooms this superb holiday home enjoys. No matter the weather, you'll find it warm and cosy with full central heating throughout, an open fire in the sitting room and wood burning stoves in the dining room and study.

    Lower Floor
    On this level you'll find a large state of the art cinema room, with 126-inch screen and surround sound. You'll be hard pressed not to find something suitable for all, with the extensive film library to choose from. If that fails, there's always the X-Box, DVD/BluRay and/or Kinect.

    Additionally on the Lower Floor, you'll find a children's playroom with sink and an extra fridge, another more grown-up Games Room with pool table and handcrafted bar, as well as a gym and a mud room (to dry wet gear and dogs after long muddy walks).

    Ground Floor
    The sitting room, dining room, study, kitchen, butlers pantry and cloakroom are all located on the ground floor. The main reception rooms are light and spacious.

    The terrace itself overlooks the Loch and seats up to 16 for al fresco meals. A charcoal BBQ is provided in addition to a Midge Buster (available April to September).

    Catering Quotes
    This property is let on a self-catered basis, but we’re happy to put you in touch directly with the owners’ recommended caterers so you can discuss costs.  You’ll need to discuss with them what sort of catering you’d be looking for and they will supply you with quotes. Alternatively you're welcome to bring along your own cook. 

    The well equipped kitchen is located on the ground floor and spacious enough with breakfast bar and window seating to cater for up to 14 guests in one sitting. The traditionally arched Gothic style windows overlooking the loch provide the room with good natural light.

    Cooking for large numbers will not be a problem with a professional Everhot range, a hob and microwave. All the necessary appliances, two kettles and two toasters ensure no-one misses out on that round of coffees and toast first thing in the morning! A wall-mounted Smart TV will keep the cook and kitchen helpers entertained if needs be.

    A Butlers Pantry located near the dining room is equipped with a large modern fridge, two dishwashers, double sinks and makes an ideal spot for mixing pre-dinner cocktails and clearing away meals enjoyed in the dining room.

  • This property accommodates up to 19 adults and 2 children very comfortably in 9 bedrooms, two of which are located on the ground floor.  [Fun fact: all bedrooms are named after trees found on the estate].

    Ground Floor:
    Bed 1 - Sequoya: Four-posted king bed with en-suite bathroom with shower, sink, water closet and sprawling bath designed to allow two bathers to recline side by side, as well as a shower cubicle.

    Bed 2 - Chestnut: Twin bedrooms with teak sleigh beds and en-suite bathroom with shower, teardrop bath, double sinks and water closet.


    First Floor:
    There are two staircases, one which is located near the kitchen and this leads to:-

    Bed 3 - Lime: Double bedroom with a king double bed. Shares a bathroom with Rowan. Bathroom includes a bath, shower, wash hand basin and water closet.

    Bed 4 - Rowan: A twin room with 2 solid teak beds. Shares a bathroom (see above) with Lime.

    The main staircase leads to a galleried landing providing access to the remaining bedrooms, as follows:

    Bed 5 - Silver Birch: Double bedroom with a silver-framed king bed.

    Bed 6 - Copper Beach: Double bed with a huge circular bed set under an impressive angled ceiling. This room also has a small freestanding cooper slipper bath.

    Bed 7 - Douglas Fir: A double bedroom with a King bed plus a single bed.

    Bed 8 - Oak: Double bedroom with king bed and a small chaise longue that can function as a children’s bed (also suitable for adults under 5’2)

    Bed 9 - Monterey Pine: Double bedroom with a king bed and a larger chaise longue/children’s bed (also suitable for adults under 5’2)

    First floor - (adjacent to Oak and Monterey Pine) also includes a bathroom with teardrop bath, shower cubicle, wash hand basin and water closet, and two shower rooms with large walk-in showers.

  • Nestled in mixed woodland on a 34-acre private estate, the property is in an elevated position overlooking Loch Lomond and the surrounding hills.  Beautifully manicured lawns extending to about four acres. Access to the property is via electric gates with ample parking available. Wander through the woodland and see if you can spot the Sequoia tree, one of the tallest in Scotland. Lots of space for dogs and children to play. 

    The nearest stations are Balloch or Tarbet, and Glasgow airport is within a reasonable distance.  

    There's plenty to offer in this area, from day trips into Glasgow to hiring a boat in which to explore Loch Lomond. 

  • BABY SUPPLIES
    This property can supply 2 cots & 2 highchairs, a changing mat, bottle warmer and baby food processor, stairgates are also available, please ensure you submit a note on your booking form requesting these so the owner is aware of your requirements prior to arrival.

    GROUP TYPES
    The owner very much welcomes mixed family groups only. Due to prior bad experience the owner will not accept bookings for the following group types:

    • all male groups whose sole purpose for the holiday is to celebrate a ‘stag’ style get together/party.
    • All male/female or mixed groups/couples without children where the average age falls under 25 years old

    Any booking made where the purpose of the holiday is later found to fall into either category, will be cancelled without notice, or refund. If you are unsure, please contact the office for details before confirming your booking.

    PRIVATE WATER SUPPLY
    There is a private water supply at this property, which is checked and approved on an annual basis by the local authority.

    WEDDINGS
    Weddings are accepted at this property in discussion at the booking stage, but limited to the capacity of the accommodation.
