Luxury rural retreat in the Central Scottish Highlands nestled into the west highland hills of Loch Lomond

You'll find this charmingly renovated single-storey barn furnished to luxury standard.  Fitted out with Scandi-style distressed furniture, on polished wooden floors with underfloor heating complemented by leather and suede upholstery. A small touch of tartan to remind you where you are and plenty of loch and woodland views provide guests with a relaxing and peaceful ambiance. 

Accommodating up to 12 adults in 6 bedrooms, this holiday home offers the perfect sanctuary in private grounds with walled garden and 7 seater hot tub, yet conveniently located near Glasgow for those who can only spare a weekend stopover.

    Reception Rooms 
    The entertainment areas in this holiday home are all in the single-storey barn boasting a large, spacious sitting room with double height ceilings, French doors and woodburning stove.  Adjacent to that is the dining room.  An additional snug is perfect for children or as a break out space.

    Leading into the one acre walled garden from the snug are well-maintained lawns and patios looking out onto mixed woodland.  A 7 seater hot tub provides ample opportunity to relax and unwind, day and night. 

    Kitchen & Dining
    The kitchen is modern and well equipped, with clean, curved cabinetry and a central island breakfast bar comfortably seating 6.  The double electric fan assisted oven with induction hob, microwave and American style double fridge freezer with water & ice dispenser provides plenty of space for provisions and the preparation of meals. 

    There's a secondary kitchen with breakfast bar in the studio suite in the coach house opposite.  It's an open plan kitchen that flows into the sitting room of the studio suite and includes an oven/microwave, hob, dishwasher and refrigerator. 

    The contemporary dining room just off the hallway comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests for meals around a large distressed oak table.  Adjacent is the sitting room.

    Catering Quotes
    This property is let on a self-catered basis, but we’re happy to put you in touch directly with the owners’ recommended caterers if you feel you've earned the right not to have to deal with the cooking!  You’ll need to discuss with them what sort of catering you’d be looking for and they will then supply you with quotes. Alternatively you're welcome to bring along your own cook.

  • Private walled garden with well-maintained grass lawns and patios and brickwork walkways, overlooking mixed woodland. A 7 seater hot tub sits on the patio near the entrance to the snug. 

    The owner very much welcomes mixed family groups only. Due to prior bad experience the owner will not accept bookings for the following group types:

    • all male groups whose sole purpose for the holiday is to celebrate a ‘stag’ style get together/party.
    • All male/female or mixed groups/couples without children where the average age falls under 25 years old

    Any booking made where the purpose of the holiday is later found to fall into either category, will be cancelled without notice, or refund. If you are unsure, please contact the office for details before confirming your booking.

    There is a private water supply at this property, which is checked and approved on an annual basis by the local authority.

    Weddings are accepted at this property in discussion at the booking stage, but limited to the capacity of the accommodation.
