The pretty village of Mortehoe with it's rugged coastline has a long history of smuggling and shipwrecks.Children will love finding the remains of a shipwreck at low tide on Rockham beach. The North Devon Coast has been named an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides superb scenic walks, plenty of places for surfing and sandy beaches to visit for family days out. Within driving distance Marwood Gardens, Combe Martin Wildlife Park and Exmoor National Park are all well worth a visit.
