Description

With beautiful sea views from almost every angle and within the very heart of this wonderful seaside haven, The Property, affectionately named after a mispronunciation of Walberswick by the owners’ children, is a gorgeous coastal holiday home perfect for all your favourite people to come together.

Step inside this beautiful bohemian style home, which offers a very warm and welcoming feel. The interior has been carefully considered and designed with a natural colour pallet at its heart, interspersed with pops of colour in the quirky artwork, fabrics, and furnishings. Best of all, the property’s original features have been lovingly restored to their former glory with exposed wooden floorboards, feature fireplaces and the sash cord windows make picture perfect frames for the pretty scenery that surrounds the house.

The Property is all about being together. Indulge in delicious feasts around the dinner table before heading to the playroom for a game of darts and boogie under the disco lights! Retire to the sumptuous sofas in the sitting room and relax in front of the fire following a lovely long walk across the shingle beach from Walberswick to Dunwich.

Holidays are all about rest and relaxation and this family friendly home ticks all of those boxes, with its selection of beautiful bedrooms. Boasting two stylish kingsize bedrooms both with gorgeous sea views and three further bedrooms with up to 5 single beds, this is the ideal holiday home for two families to escape to.

Walberswick is a former fishing village just across the harbour at Southwold – you can take the small ferry boat from Southwold across (summer season only) or there is the footbridge to use. Walberswick has surrounding heath and marshland which are protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walberswick is very popular with walkers, cyclists and families and is known for its annual crabbing competitions. Walberswick has attracted famous figures over the years with many famous celebrities maintaining homes in the village. The village has two pubs – The Anchor and The Bell Inn – the latter which inspired the creation of Adnams’ Ghost Ship Ale, a tearoom, art gallery and gift shop. There are some fantastic walks from Walberswick via the Suffolk Coast Path leading to the historical village of Dunwich. Other attractions nearby include the seaside town of Southwold, Blythburgh and RSPB Minsmere Reserve is just a short drive away.
