Description

The Property is a beautiful and luxurious holiday home.  Situated a stones throw from the beach and much-loved Southwold High Street, one could not be in a better spot.  This property has recently been newly refurbished by its owners and thought has gone into every detail.  They have furnished the house to a high standard bringing oodles of comfort to this coastal holiday let.

On the ground floor the open plan living and dining room with french doors leading out onto the small but secluded patio courtyard offers the perfect entertaining space for gatherings with loved ones. There is a fabulous wood burner to cosy up in front of after a bracing walk along the beach or just to enjoy with wine and friends on those cooler evenings.  With seating in abundance no one will feel left out. The kitchen is stylish and modern providing everything a guest could ask for during their stay. There is a smaller dining table and chairs in the kitchen too.  The doors open out onto the patio courtyard where there is additional seating. Why not relax after a long day exploring the beautiful heritage coast with a gin and tonic before cooking up a BBQ feast for everyone. 

The sumptuous accommodation is spread across two floors with bedroom 1 and ensuite shower room, bedrooms 2 and bedroom 3 on the first floor along with family bathroom. On the 2nd floor there is bedroom 4 with a small WC and basin.

GROUND FLOOR Sitting Room: Large open and bright space divided into sitting room and dining areas.  Comfortable seating, coffee table, log burner, dining table with eight chairs and 43” smart television with access to streaming services, in addition BLU RAY / DVD player, radio/cd player with Bluetooth receiver. Double doors to access the courtyard and front windows with shutters.

Kitchen: Large kitchen diner with table accommodating 6 people, large patio doors to courtyard, windows with shutter, underfloor heating, dual fuel range cooker (gas hob., 2 x electric ovens), built in fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, microwave oven.

WC: WC and washbasin. Hallway: Doors leading to sitting room, dining room and kitchen.

FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1: King size bed, bedside table and lamps, chest of drawers. Ensuite shower room and underfloor heating. Shutters on bay windows.

Bedroom 2: Double bed, bedside table and lamps, chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3: Twin beds, bedside table and lamps, chest of drawers and small desk.

Family bathroom: Bath with over shower, WC, and basin with underfloor heating.

SECOND FLOOR

Bedroom 4: Trundle bed which can be used as two singles.  this bedroom is more suited to children and teenagers on account of its restricted ceiling height, bedside table and lamp and chest of drawers Small WC and basin ensuite.

Outside: Enclosed courtyard garden with outside seating, BBQ and additional bistro table and chairs for 2. Chimera. Parking: Street parking in front of property.

Pets: No pets. Heating: Gas central heating. Notes: Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Please bring your own beach towels.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!
