Parking: For sixteen vehicles in the driveway, additional space for up to 30 cars in total. Parking over and above 30 cars on request.

Also Provided: Free WiFi. Towels, two travel cots, 3 cotbeds, highchair, booster seat and three stairgates. A welcome hamper containing local produce. A pack of logs for the woodburner in winter or charcoal in summer for the barbecue.
Extra's: Linen for extra cot beds and travels cots is available at £25 per cot/cot bed payable on booking. An event charge of £1,200 is required for any events with over 20 guests attending.
Pets: Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs and are to be kept on the lead at all times when outside. Please refer to booking information regarding pets.
Notes: There is a house keeping deposit of £1,000 payable to the owner; this will be required two weeks before the start of your holiday. This is a non-smoking property. Mobile signal - strong. Property is approached via a single track unsurfaced lane which is used by farm vehicles. All bedrooms can be made up as a twin or double bedroom, please specify upon booking.

A thriving seaside town with sandy beaches, and a fascinating heritage of crabbing and fishing. The Lynn museum has a replica of the towns famous Bronze Age timber circle, and the Fishermen’s Heritage centre has historical displays of the town and life boating.

Colourful beach huts line the sea front, and the popular twice weekly market has over 30 stalls of local produce and bric-a-brac. The Little Theatre is open all year round and its programmes include films, musicals, comedy and art exhibitions so there is something for everyone. Hilltop Outdoor Centre offers a range of fantastic activities such as tree top trails and archery. For those brave enough there is the Air Jump tower.

Sheringham Park has over 1000 acres of woodland walks; there are plenty of viewing platforms to peek over the treetops at the coast and marked nature trails to spot the estate wildlife. The Poppy Line is a great day out, the steam trains run a 10 mile round trip through areas of outstanding beauty. There are vintage events and themed weekends, the historic stations along the route have museums and tea rooms. Priory Gardens has 10 acres of themed gardens and a traditional hedge maze based on the ruins of the Beeston Priory. Felbrigg Hall is a beautiful country house filled with antiques and artwork, there is over 500 acres of woodlands and gardens.


Located on the east coast of England, facing Europe across the North Sea, Norfolk is one of the UK's most rural counties, with over forty percent of its population living in just four towns – Norwich, Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn and Thetford. Adjacent to The Wash, in whose mud the medieval King John famously lost the Crown Jewels in 1216, Norfolk's geography is that of low plains or “fens”, which makes it along with neighbouring Suffolk feel more like northern countries of European mainland (Belgium and Holland) than the rest of England which is predominantly hilly.

In a similar way to that of the “low countries”, erosion and land reclamation have changed the coastline over the centuries, so that several towns (King's Lynn, for instance) which were once on the coast are now to be found several miles inland! The whole set-up makes for some very interesting topography as well as history and Norfolk is, for this reason, an interesting county to visit, almost as if it was a different country altogether!

East of England

This region includes the ceremonial counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. With a rich heritage there is much to see and do to suit all ages. The royal residency of Sandringham Estate is a must see and other historical points of interest include Castle Rising, Sutton Hoo and Somerleyton Hall. The medieval cities of Cambridge, Norwich and Ipswich are not to be missed and there are lots of pretty market towns and idyllic seaside resorts to choose from for a day trip. Alternatively for a slower paced holiday you may wish to visit The Broads or Thetford Forest, these areas are particularly popular for boating and spotting birdlife.
