Approached via a sweeping driveway and surrounded by generous landscaped gardens, The Property is a period holiday cottage in Abersoch. Occupying a peaceful position in easy walking distance to the village and beaches, it offers generous five bedroom accommodation with a feel of luxury.

One of the original properties in this coastal village, The Property combines a traditional character feel with many modern touches such as WiFi and two flatscreen TVs. The property sleeps 8 guests (including one child's bedroom) and has a perfect location - just a 2 minute walk to shops, restaurants and Abersoch Blue Flag Beach.

The quality cottage has a lounge boasting a large inglenook fireplace with open fire, sofa and armchairs, flatscreen TV with Freeview channels, DVD player and digital radio with iPod dock, and a dining room with antique table with 8 chairs, Welsh dresser and views across the gardens. The large kitchen is large room fitted with modern units, an electric double oven & hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, CD radio, breakfast table with four chairs and a window seat. A fridge/freezer is housed in the garage. There is a pretty garden room with seating and patio door onto the garden terrace and two ground floor shower rooms, one of which has a WC and basin.

On the first floor, the stairs lead to an open-plan games area with flatscreen TV, DVD player, sofa and chair, and five bedrooms. The master bedroom is large with dual aspect windows, a kingsize bed and washbasin. There are two twin rooms, a single room and a small child's room with a small single bed; all with beamed ceilings. The family bathroom has the original bath, a washbasin, WC, oak beams and some restricted head height. The bathroom has two doors, so don't forget to lock them both!

The Property is approached through two large wooden gates and along a driveway, which sweeps through the front gardens. There are additional enclosed gardens to the rear of the property with lawn, mature trees, hydrangeas and shrubs plus an attractive sunken garden area. Please note there is a drop between the two garden levels. The rear patio has wooden garden furniture and there is ample parking.

£300 security deposit requested please.

Electricity, heating and WiFi included. An initial supply of logs is provided.

Bed linen provided.

Travel cot available.

Indeed, it is one of the only parts of Britain where you can be in the mountains in the morning and at the seaside by the afternoon. The diverse animal life of the region reflects this, with everything from otters to ospreys and seals to dolphins.

Not many places are imbued with such history and heritage, which is reflected throughout the region from cottages to castles! Attractions abound, with zoos and farms, steam railways and activity centres. There are regular events from international cultural festivals and shows to family fun days.

The area also offers a huge range of outdoor activities; walking, cycling, fishing, golf and water-sports to name only a few. In many parts of North Wales the spoken language is Welsh, not English, although people who cannot or will not speak the latter are rare, and signposts and other notices always display their message in both languages.
