The Property is a stunning barn conversion offering quality self-catering accommodation in a spectacular location. The barn has been restored and renovated with great care providing a unique and stylish retreat of high quality, packed full of comforts and with many luxury touches. It maintains its traditional charm and contains everything you'll need to enjoy a very special break. This is an ideal location from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park, with Betws-Y-Coed - 8 miles, Llangollen - 25 miles and Bala - 16 miles.

On the ground floor is a large open plan living room with modern sofas, a large Freeview TV/DVD player/CD player/WiFi, log burning stove and French doors opening onto a large decking area offering spectacular views. There is a dining room with French doors to the garden, an antique table and chairs for 8 and a fully fitted kitchen equipped with a double gas range, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, breakfast table and chairs for two and a CD radio. Also on this floor is a large L shaped double bedroom with king size bed, an ensuite wet room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, and another separate cloakroom with WC and basin. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor - two large double bedrooms, a twin, and a family bathroom with a bath with shower over, WC, basin and slate tiling.

The Property boasts large gardens with amazing views, a large decked terrace, a separate barbecue area and table and chairs. There is plenty of parking for four cars. The cottage overlooks stunning countryside and has direct access to many trails right from the door, or even a walk to the local village pub. A short drive in any direction takes you to spectacular and varied countryside; the mountains and lakes of Snowdonia; the pretty village of Llangollen with its heritage railway, canal, river and the famous Pontcysllte Aquaduct; the lake at Bala, with its watersports centre; Blaenau Ffestiniog with its world famous zip wire and downhill mountain biking; the reservoir at Llyn Brenig for walking, fishing and cycling or the Conwy Valley with Surf Snowdonia- a state of the art, purpose built surf centre.

North Wales showcases some of the UK's most varied landscape, from the snow-capped mountains of Snowdonia to the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula. Indeed, it is one of the only parts of Britain where you can be in the mountains in the morning and at the seaside by the afternoon. The diverse animal life of the region reflects this, with everything from otters to ospreys and seals to dolphins.

Not many places are imbued with such history and heritage, which is reflected throughout the region from cottages to castles! Attractions abound, with zoos and farms, steam railways and activity centres. There are regular events from international cultural festivals and shows to family fun days.

The area also offers a huge range of outdoor activities; walking, cycling, fishing, golf and water-sports to name only a few. In many parts of North Wales the spoken language is Welsh, not English, although people who cannot or will not speak the latter are rare, and signposts and other notices always display their message in both languages.
