Beautiful Mansion House, near Brecon (TYNYCABR)

The Property is a great location, in the centre of The Brecon Beacons National Park. Located within 10 minutes easy walking distance of the ever popular Three Horse Shoes in Groesffordd, with it's excellent food and ales; yet only a mile to Brecon on footpaths or 2 miles by road. This newly refurbished, large, Victorian country house which still contains many original features, has recently been extremely well renovated to a spacious and very comfortable self catering holiday house with the advantage of all the 21st century mod-cons. Set in large gardens with wonderful mature trees including a giant redwood. There is a focus on green credentials, with the inclusion of heat exchange systems, wood burning stoves, LED lighting and energy efficient appliances.
This large and imposing holiday house has been renovated with the advantage of two excellent fully equipped catering kitchens to make catering easier for a large number of people - there is ample space for everyone to be accommodated very comfortably.

Sleeps 21

Bedrooms: 2 King Size, 2 Family, 3 Double, 1 Twin, 1 Single (plus a couple of extra spare beds for exclusive use with plenty of dining space).

Bath/shower rooms: 7 bath/shower rooms

Redwood Wing will sleep 15 people in six bedroom with 4 bath/shower rooms

This very spacious wing has an impressive entrance complete with veranda, spacious porch and a large hallway with arch and sweeping staircase. It has been designed to be very "family orientated" with a newly fitted and equipped kitchen able to cater for large numbers. A large Range Style cooker, an American Style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc.
There is a door here leading out to the gardens and surrounding grounds.

A large dining room with room for everyone (from both cottages) to be able to eat together comfortably, there is a fine original bay window looking out over the fields and polished parquet flooring.

The sitting room again is spacious with French doors out to the veranda, new sofas and chairs and an efficient wood burning stove. Flatscreen TV with Freesat and DVD

Upstairs to 6 bedrooms

The Master Family Bedroom 1: A very large room with a King sized bed, "day bed" and space for an additional full sized single bed if required. An en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Bedroom 6: A very spacious attic bedroom with a king sized bed, "day bed" and space for an additional single bed if required.
This attic room also has a Bathroom with shower and hand basin. There is also a separate toilet.

Orchard Wing is smaller and will sleep 6 guests in three bedrooms with three bath/shower rooms:

A spacious kitchen that has been recently completely re-fitted and equipped with a new electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dining table and chairs.

A utility room with washing machine and a tumble dryer.

An attractive and cosy sitting room, with a door and views over the garden, sofas and chairs, a wood burning stove and a Flat screen TV with Freesat and DVD

A downstairs cloakroom with hand basin and toilet.

Bedroom 1: A bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower and a separate hand basin and toilet..

Bedroom 2: A bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite wet-room with a shower and toilet.

Bathroom: With a bath with a shower over hand basin and toilet.

LocationMid Wales

This is the go to place for outdoor enthusiasts to make the most of the fantastic walking, riding & cycling opportunities, especially in the Cambrian Mountains National Park. The Ceredigion Coastal Path features numerous trails to choose from depending on how far you wish to travel. Whether for a full walking holiday or just a stroll along the cliffs to a village pub, this unspoilt route is perfect and has views out across the famous Cardigan Bay which is home to the UKs largest pod of dolphins.

Dotted along the Wales-West England border are lots of lovely market towns, many of which have their own castle. This disputed ground has a large number of Roman and Norman medieval fortresses, today some are only ruins or just the earthen works remain however there are plenty which have restored to their former glory and are open to visitors.

Mid Wales also just touches on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, a popular mountain range for exploring caves, forest activities and other more extreme outdoor sports such as rock climbing and abseiling. A number of historic railways mean other regions of Wales are easily accessible for a day trip, and make for an enjoyable way to travel and take in the sights.
