The surrounding countryside offers plentiful walking and cycling routes, with Ferry Wood and the Dalchork Forest Trails being popular with visitors. Nearby the Falls of Shin are a famous spot for watching the Salmon on their journey up river. The Ferrycroft Visitor Centre is a great place to stop in, to learn more about the town, and the surrounding countryside.
