Found on the banks of the River Tay, Perth is a small delight in the beautiful rolling countryside of Perthshire. Perth has formerly enjoyed the status of Capital of Scotland, and has only very recently regained its city status. Elsewhere in the city the new Concert Hall is a fantastic venue, home to a varied programme of events and shows. Perth has plenty to offer by way shopping and eating, with a range of opportunities located down and around the High Street. There are also two tranquil and large parks to ramble and picnic, the North and South Inch.
