Kinloch Rannoch is a village located by Loch Rannoch surrounded by mountains including the impressive Schiehallion. This is a great base for water based activities on the loch and walking in the hills. Access is via Tummel Bridge and Pitlochry. The Perthshire town is easily accessible, being just off the A9 road, and is considered a gateway to the Highlands.

Located on the River Tummel and with a spectacular highland hills backdrop the area is ideal for walkers and cyclists. Killiecrankie wooded gorge is a beautiful landscape to discover. The setting of a battle during the Jacobite uprisings, you can learn its history at the Visitors Centre, and for daredevils, bungee jumping is available!
The nearby Atholl Palace is now a museum, and has beautiful grounds and gardens to explore, and the magnificent Blair Castle is also open to the public. For any nature lovers, the Explorers Garden would be worth a visit, the gardens represent the exploration into world flora, with specimens from all over the world.
