If you're looking for a holiday house with a difference, step inside this extraordinary Scottish country house and discover the wow factor.

This truly exceptional holiday house offers historic hospitality combined with contemporary cool and is unlike any other venue in Scotland.  From the outside it looks very much like a Scottish Baronial country house, but once you step inside you are blown away by the “pow” of the pop art and the sassiness of style. You just won’t know where to look first as you’re treated to Macalpine Miller artwork, filling the property with colourful designs from floor to ceiling. The quirkiness will no doubt add layer upon layer to your enjoyment.

Although in a country setting amongst private grounds, the house is within easy reach of Edinburgh and Glasgow and one just mile from Callander. In recent years it’s been renovated to become the luxurious property of today, offering all the space you need for up to 24 people, with an impressive 100 foot long drawing room, library, music room, games room, cinema room, gym, dining room and well equipped modern kitchen.

The splendour continues throughout the bedrooms, with unique finishing touches including a selection of four poster beds and distinctive décor which creates an ideal base for that once-in-a-lifetime country experience or living life like a rock star, even if it is just for the weekend!

All bookings come complete with two hours housekeeping, working on behalf of the house each day, and the services of a private chef, (food costs charged additionally, please contact us for more information.

We had a wonderful weekend. The unique interior made for a perfect party in the evening. It was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. Bathrooms toiletries and bed linen up-market. Claire, the cook, was extremely helpful and the tailor-made Scottish themed evening was carefully thought out and well delivered.

  • The beautiful drawing room is 100 foot in length, with a cosy open fire, TV and views overlooking Ben Ledi. This super expansive room offers plenty of seating space for everyone to relax in. From comfortable sofas, chairs by the fire, to a table with seating infront of the bay window. There is somewhere for the whole group to spread out in comfort.

    Continue through the arch and you'll find bespoke sofas and armchairs with access down to the balcony area and steps leading down into garden.

    Next door, the large library is the perfect spot to relax with a book and a brew.

    Pass through the welcoming reception hall, or stop by in the fabuous music room, with piano and bespoke sofa before heading into the games room beyond for an evening full of entertainment! Here you'll find a pool table, drum kit and a 10 foot bar area.

    For the fitness bugs! There's even a gym located in the basement which houses a running machine, spin bike, free weights and power plate. 

    The modern dining room is typically set up for 16 people, but can seat a maximum of 20 for larger groups. The chairs are stylishly finished with images of modern icons which add a dynamic and unique element to the room whilst the dual aspect gas fire will ensure your group are kept nice and warm whilst dining.

    Next door the fully modernised kitchen, complete with ultra-sleek black granite work tops and TV, has plenty of work space for catering for larger group sizes. It also comes with an instant hot water tap, AGA, two dishwashers and large upright fridge freezer.

    The utility room is a welcome bonus, located in the basement with two washing machines and two tumble dryers.

  • This house is tucked away in a rural setting with 12 acres of private, mature grounds which include acres of lawn and a west facing garden with views towards Ben Ledi. Beyond the fence is the river Teith where a salmon pool can be made available for a rod in season (by prior request)

    The surrounding areas are also popular for Mountain biking, water activities and walking with Ben Ledi and Ben Vane nearby. You’re just one mile from Callander which has the nearest supermarket and a good local golf course. Gleneagles resort is only 23 miles away for those who wish to further their skills! Whilst Edinburgh (45 miles) and Glasgow (50 miles) are within easy reach for those who wish to visit the city.

    For sight seekers and family groups, Stirling Castle, Drummond Safari Park and Deanston distillery are well worth a visit and provide an enjoyable day out. Stirling offers a larger selection of shops, supermarkets and amenities.

    This is a great base for groups seeking a country experience with equally easy access to the cities.

    Visits to view the property are with prior owner agreement and will only be considered for bookings of 7 nights or more.

    Stag and Hen bookings, may not book this property, unless discussed in advance for approval. Neither the Owner nor the Agent will accept any liability should a booking be confirmed as a consequence of non-disclosure of the above which may later result in a booking cancellation by the Owner.     This property offers catering, using in house staff only, please contact us if you wish to add this to your booking.

    Whisky tasting, design your own gin, Clay Pigeon shooting, and Archery, but to name a few great facilities you can add to your booking, please ask for more info. (Arranged and payable directly with the owner, depending on availability).

    Whilst this property can supply a cot & highchair, please make sure you submit a note on your booking form to the bookings team requesting these items so these are put one out for you on arrival.

    Please be aware that the piano at the property may not be tuned on a regular basis. Guests are welcome to play the piano, but for those wishing to arrange a musical event, then the provision of a professional keyboard may be more appropriate.

    The owner requires a fully refundable security bond to be paid within 7 days of the holiday start date.This owner has chosen to use our secure online payment service to collect this bond from guests.
