A TV room and a games room with full size snooker table, will ensure children and adults are kept entertained.

The castle is divided in two sections with the superior south facing front half the section available for letting. Outside, there is plenty of parking for all the guests and there is a tennis court to the side of the castle. There are a number of nice walks through the woods. A limited amount of wedding parties can be hosted here, with all details required and discussed before a booking is made. If you're looking for a stay in a Scottish Castle look no further!

Lovely castle in a lovely location. Big enough to absorb all our group. We had a group from 16 months to 71 years and everyone was catered for. There was an aga and a modern cooker in the kitchen which helped cater for everyone's different cooking at the same time. The kitchen became the hub of the house. Pity the formal dining room had no dumb waiter, as meant we never used it and always ate in the kitchen. The small television room next to the kitchen was very useful for keeping the younger children happy. Bedrooms were great and snooker room used a lot. The living room could do with two of the sofas replacing however as the cushions were totally flat and therefore they were very uncomfortable to sit on and awkward for getting in and out of as they were so low down!.

Wonderful to hear your family enjoyed the stay in this stunning 18 century Baronial Castle, glad you found the accommodation spacious and well equipped…I’m sure the wonderful location and amazing loch views have made this is very memorable holiday.

We agree, the cosy kitchen is the heart of the castle with informal seating which is perfect for everyday family meals, the TV room next door is certainly handy for keeping the children occupied and the formal dining room found on the first floor is also lovely for a special meal or celebratory occasion! We will pass on your lovely feedback to the owners of this castle and hope to hear from you again in the future.

Were very helpful on the phone when first contacted them in relation the holiday, and their website and subsequent emails made payments very easy. I recei ved all the information I needed from them via emails in relaiton to travelling etc.

Thanks so much for your excellent review of our service and taking the time to leave feedback. So glad you found our team helpful on the phone and the online payment system useful. We look forward to helping with your next trip!

We absolutely loved our week here. There is plenty of space for everyone without being too big so you feel seperated. The grounds around are beautiful and exploring the old castle is great fun too. Lots of walks around, highly recommend seeking out the hidden loch. Nearest pub is great and the local shop is well stocked. Dunoon has a big Morrions for shopping. Highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely go back.

Sounds like you had an absolutely fantastic week at this Baronial Castle. Great to hear you found the castle spacious enough for all generations to make the most out of their stay and also enjoyed exploring the local area and grounds. We had an amazing two weeks!!! Castle and setting is incredible, what a view to wake up to everyday!! The owners at the castle were friendly and so supportive, especially when needed on a few occasions with some of the organisation for our daughter's wedding!!! The wedding truly was a magical day in the most magical place!!! THANK YOU for sharing your home!!! Despite being Scottish we have lived over seas for a number of years and the warmth of the Castle was first class.... Constant heating and roaring fires even in August!!!

Thank you for your lovely comments and so glad we could assist with this very special holiday! I’m sure all your guests had an amazing time in this beautiful castle and great the owners were also able to help with the wedding arrangements.

One or two minor hiccups i.e. additional charges being added to the a/c in error, but they were resolved and overall the service was both professional and courteous

The castle is an old place, and the general standard of the building is 1900, maybe charming to some, but demands some handling and maintenance activities for the rest of us. But the bedrooms are first class!
The support and instructions from Mark Graham is excellent though. Nice guy!

Many thanks for your feedback, it is always great to hear guests first-hand experience. As this castle dates back to the 18th century it is full of antiquities and has a lovely authentic feel! We are very glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay and will pass on your comments to the owners!

Don't forget we offer a loyalty discount to returning clients, and I hope we can help with future holiday plans.
