Swanage Large Holiday Homes

This sheltered bay is in the heart of Purbeck, a popular spot for kayaking and coasteering activities and known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast Heritage Site. This dramatic coastline is famous for fossil hunting and features the local Heritage Centre & Museum, Tilly Whim Caves and the Durlston Country Park. Within this nature reserve is an impressive restored castle with visitor centre and marked trails to explore the woodlands.

The steam railway is a great way to venture further afield for day trips, with regular themed events and galas. The Victorian Pier in Swanage has a shop and café, with angling opportunities at the far end of the pier and regular boat trips. Across the dunes and heath at the Studland Nature Reserve are designated paths for spotting the wildlife.

Set in the middle of Poole Harbour is Brownsea Island, the famous yellow passenger boats bring visitors and wildlife groups to the island to enjoy the outdoor activities, tours and family friendly events. Outdoor sporting enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with a range of adventure clubs and schools offering raft building, climbing and kayaking.
