Holsworthy Large Holiday Homes

A pretty market town which hosts the regional livestock market and a pannier market ideal for picking up gifts and local produce. A small manor houses the town museum which covers the history and trade of the area, there is also a kitchen and WW II artefacts. The town is surrounded by rolling countryside and with good coastal access to visit Bude and Widemouth Bay. Located in Bude is the Harlequinns Leisure Centre with ten pin bowling and indoor soft play areas perfect for a rainy day.

Dartmoor National Park is just a short drive and is ideal for walking, cycling, pony trekking across the open moor and woodland trails. Canoeing and exploring the tors are also exciting ways to make the most of this dramatic landscape. This area is also home to the famous Tarka Trail, a lovely traffic free route which follows disused railway lines across the county. Booked in advance, Dragon Archery offers all weather ranges and tuition through the various themed arenas. Visit the Upper Tamar Lake or the larger Roadford Lake for sailing, kayaking and fishing.

Throughout the year there are steam rallies, rural country shows, fairs and carnivals in the area. Also for something different, pop by the Gnome Reserve at Bradworthy.
