Description

This spacious and elegant Victorian townhouse is just a short uphill walk from the centre of the popular village of Braunton and offers wonderful views over the village and towards the Taw Estuary and the sea beyond.  Stylishly presented throughout whilst retaining much of its original character this delightful property is an ideal place for family and friends to get together.You will also be able to enjoy the beaches, coast and countryside that are all just a few minutes drive away.  A grand living/dining room is situated on the first floor taking advantage of the coastal views and has an original Victorian fireplace. With views to the rear the well equipped kitchen/breakfast room is adjacent.  Four bedrooms are situated on the second floor, two doubles offering far reaching views and a twin overlooking the rear garden.  There is a further compact twin bedroom that is ideal for children (low 6'6"ceiling).  The ground floor offers an additional living room providing flexible living space for larger parties, a further very spacious bedroom and a newly fitted shower room. Leading out to the rear garden, a fully fitted utility room offers storage space for surf board and wet suits.  A fully enclosed rear patio and terraced garden is ideal for enjoying a relaxing outdoor dining experience. The village of Braunton offers a great selection of individual shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs and is just a short drive to the beautiful surfing beaches of Saunton and Croyde.  A free parking permit for one vehicle at Croyde Down End car park is provided (until the end of February 2020). An ideal property for walkers and cyclists with easy access to the Tarka Trail, which follows the route of the old railway line around the Taw Estuary as well as the spectacular coastal walks along the nearby Golden Coast.

Kitchen/breakfast room with 6 ring gas hob,electric double oven with grill, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.  Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin. Separate WC with basin. Second Floor. Bedroom 2 with Twin ideal for children. Bedroom 3 with Double. Bedroom 4 with Double. Bedroom 5 with Super King zip'n' link option to twins on request. Separate WC. Family parties only.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. Wi-Fi Broadband. No smoking. Regret no pets. Highchair and travel cot. Garden furniture and BBQ. Free parking for one car provided in Croyde Down End Beach Car Park (up until end February 2020). Private parking  for 3 cars. Short breaks available. 3pm arrival time. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
