Gooda's Barn is a fantastic renovated barn boasting so much character with open beams and detail. This barn is ideal for any party group make up and the ground floor is wheel chair friendly with access to a wet room, all bedrooms, kitchen and dining area and it also has a disabled parking space along with additional private parking. The ground floor is a lovely open space from the hallway through to the main kitchen and dining area where you have a contemporary wood burner and all the bedrooms are off this area with glass doors and blinds. A great sense of openness with the first floor being partly open from this area also. All bedrooms have a stable door to the outside providing ventilation. There is a stairgate at the bottom of the metal staircase leading to the first floor which brings you on to the walkway along the length of the barn which leads you to the two areas each end of the barn. You can choose to relax in the sitting area with soft furnishings and a large television or you can choose to play table football, chess, or relax in the tub chairs. The outside area has a garden with two picnic tables for those wishing to enjoy the outdoors. Gooda’s Barn is situated within walking distance of Darsham Marshes and just 10 miles of Aldeburgh and Southwold, RSPB Minsmere are a short drive away. A great base for those wishing to explore Suffolk. Emmerdale Farm Shop: 0.5 mile. Garage and shop: 1.3 and 1.7 mile. Pub: 1.3 mile.

GROUND FLOOR Large hallway: Open to kitchen and dining area. Hooks for coats and electric airing cupboard. Bi-folding doors to rear garden. Cloakroom: Wash basin and WC. Shower Room: Shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Wet Room: Large area with shower, wash basin and WC. Kitchen/Dining area: Cooker with double oven, 5 electric rings and two grills, fridge, fridge freezer, slimline dishwasher, double sink and draining board, dining table and ten chairs. Contemporary wood burner and French doors for ventilation. Bedroom 1: Double bed, chest of drawers, open hanging. Stable door to outside. Bedroom 2: Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and stable door to outside. Bedroom 3: Twin room with wardrobe, television and armchair, two chest of drawers and stable door to outside. Bedroom 4: Double bed with ladder providing access to a single bed above. Additional single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and stable door.

Metal open staircase with railings and stair gate leading to:- FIRST FLOOR A walkway with railings runs across the length of the barn leading you to two areas below with a stairgate each end. Sitting area: With soft furnishings, large television, and rug to the laminate flooring. Snug area: With wine fridge, draught/chess table and two chairs, table football and four tub chairs.

Garden: The garden is at the rear of the barn with two picnic tables. There is also an additional large field where dogs are welcome.  An outbuilding houses a new washing machine and tumble dryer.  Lockable cycle/fishing store in the garden.

Notes:  -Starter pack for wood burner provided.

-WiFi and towels provided. 

-Travel Cot and High Chair available on request.

-Fishing available from 1st April to 31st October and day tickets available to purchase on the campsite.

-Please note that due to the character of this building there are extremely low beams on the first floor on the walkway dividing the two areas on this floor.

Pets: 2 well behaved dogs welcome, downstairs only and out of the bedrooms.   Parking: Private parking in a designated area for three cars along with an additional disabled space. Heating: Under floor heating to ground floor.

The property is situated between the pretty villages of Darsham and Westleton. The popular village of Westleton is just over a mile away and has a post office/stores with a lovely cosy cafe, garage and pubs. The White Horse at Westleton is a lovely dog friendly village pub set close to the village pond. Darsham train station is situated on the A12 and provides good transport links from London to Lowestoft. The village of Yoxford is close by and the beautiful seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold are just a few miles away.
