Quintessential Coastal Cottage, near Portmellon (FOURWICO)

The Property is a stunning self-catering cottage set in prime position overlooking a quintessential Cornish cove where quiet coast paths await and trickling streams amble down to meet the sea. Spectacular views from almost every room are what makes this the perfect retreat for families and friends to while away hours just absorbing the natural beauty of Portmellon Cove and the surrounding Coastline. This part of Cornwall is known as the Cornish Riviera and Portmellon itself lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The cottage has everything you could wish for, including spectacular sea views, Smart TV, three king-sized bedrooms and two twin rooms, a games room and a beautiful garden and terrace to enjoy.

There is a traditional Cornish pub in the cove called "The Rising Sun Inn" it has a lovely beamed bar and enviable views over the bay and the near by fishing village of Mevagissey is about a mile away around the headland. Mevagissey is still a working fishing port and in the summer it gets an influx of tourists who frequent its pubs, restaurants, cafe's and many shops and galleries.

Parties of 6 or less will automatically receive a 15% discount but please only use three of the bedrooms.

Bedding and Linen: Linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

This region is mostly rural so is perfect to escape the everyday hustle and bustle, whether relaxing with the family by the seaside or exploring the wild moors and rugged coastline. The area boasts hundreds of beautiful sandy bays to choose from and fantastic surfing opportunities. The historic cities of Exeter, Bath and Gloucester are definitely worth a visit, and with transport links all the way down to Penzance even the famous Lands End and remote Isles of Scilly can be reached.
