The Property was built in the Victorian times and was formally part of a hotel. Over the years the hotel was divided and sold, what remains is a handsome yet homely building that until recently operated as a successful B&B.

Under new ownership, The Property has now been beautifully refurbished to a very high standard and still contains a wealth of period character. With its high ceilings and beautiful artwork, The Property is an ideal property for larger groups that wish to enjoy Swanage in style.

Split over 4 floors and multiple levels, there's a real feeling of space and luxury throughout. There are 6 bedrooms all with TV's and their own en-suite plus 2 spacious receptions rooms. Two additional trundle beds are available if required.

The front reception room has grand appeal with its high sash windows and beautiful fireplace. There's comfortable seating plus dining table and dividing door leading to a second room that contains a large L shaped sofa and overlooks the courtyard, perfect for relaxing and watching a film or enjoying precious time with friends and family.

3 steps down take you into the newly appointed kitchen with door leading onto the pretty enclosed courtyard, plus a utility room at the rear of the kitchen.

This sheltered bay is in the heart of Purbeck, a popular spot for kayaking and coasteering activities and known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast Heritage Site. This dramatic coastline is famous for fossil hunting and features the local Heritage Centre & Museum, Tilly Whim Caves and the Durlston Country Park. Within this nature reserve is an impressive restored castle with visitor centre and marked trails to explore the woodlands.

The steam railway is a great way to venture further afield for day trips, with regular themed events and galas. The Victorian Pier in Swanage has a shop and café, with angling opportunities at the far end of the pier and regular boat trips. Across the dunes and heath at the Studland Nature Reserve are designated paths for spotting the wildlife.

Set in the middle of Poole Harbour is Brownsea Island, the famous yellow passenger boats bring visitors and wildlife groups to the island to enjoy the outdoor activities, tours and family friendly events. Outdoor sporting enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with a range of adventure clubs and schools offering raft building, climbing and kayaking.

This region is mostly rural so is perfect to escape the everyday hustle and bustle, whether relaxing with the family by the seaside or exploring the wild moors and rugged coastline. The area boasts hundreds of beautiful sandy bays to choose from and fantastic surfing opportunities. The historic cities of Exeter, Bath and Gloucester are definitely worth a visit, and with transport links all the way down to Penzance even the famous Lands End and remote Isles of Scilly can be reached.
