This beautifully decorated and well-equipped two-storey first floor apartment is in a prime location on the Quay at East Looe. Popular from the moment it opened its immaculate doors, Clifford House has been totally and thoughtfully renovated to provide a luxurious and relaxing holiday home from home in the midst of the town. Situated on the fish quay, there is a fine choice of boat excursions on the doorstep including glass-bottom rides, cruises and even fishing trips where visitors can catch their own supper. East Looe has many pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from as does West Looe a short walk or a (tide permitting) boat taxi ride away. Further around the corner Hannafore seafront has some lovely cafes, ideal for a cream tea whilst enjoying the view across to Looe island. The South West Coast Path runs through here and walkers will enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery along the footpath where they can head to Talland Bay or Polperro. Combining the best of both worlds, Clifford House is set right amongst the hustle and bustle of the Quay, yet once through the doors and up the carpeted stairway peace and quiet reigns. Architect-designed, the apartment includes 4 en-suite bedrooms a home cinema room, and a spacious modern kitchen/lounge/diner. Decorated throughout with high quality furnishings and fabrics in neutral colours, the apartment has contemporary-luxe feel.

Second Floor: Bedroom 2 with King, TV and en-suite with shower over bath. Bedroom 3 with Twin, TV and ensuite shower room with WC and basin. Bedroom 4 with TV and ensuite shower room with WC and basin.

No parking at the property but one minute walk from the Pay and Display Harbour car park and 5 minutes from Mill Pool Car Park where weekly permits are available for £38.50. There is an additional £100.00 returnable cleaning/breakages deposit applicable. £200.00 returnable cleaning/breakages deposit applied for Christmas and New Year. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.

Looe is a picture perfect coastal town; divided by the river East Looe has a traditional fishing harbour and a wide variety of shops, cafes and a large sandy beach. West Looe also has many restaurants to choose from, and visitors can walk right up to the Hannafore Point which has lovely views of the sea and Looe Island.

Less than 5 miles away is Polperro, another beautiful and unspoilt fishing village which has a Heritage Centre of Smuggling & Fishing and several traditional pubs along the waterfront. From both these harbours there are regular fishing trips available out to sea and boat trips across to Looe Island which is a beautiful nature reserve. This is a haven for local wildlife and there are organised guided walks where visitors can spot seals and seabirds.

This is a perfect location for walks along the South Coast, and with easy reach of Looe are the sandy beaches of Plaidy & Millendreath. The Looe golf club just outside of the town has stunning panoramic views of the coastline. Just on the sea front of East Looe is the towns Guildhall Museum which displays much of the ports ancient smuggling and boat building history.

A fantastic day out is the Monkey Sanctuary in St Martins, as well as being a home to rescued monkeys the centre also has a bat and wildlife room and gardens. The Looe Valley railway is a lovely scenic line which follows along the East Looe River.

Wherever you choose to hang up your boots, you will never be far from the sea.

South West

This region is mostly rural so is perfect to escape the everyday hustle and bustle, whether relaxing with the family by the seaside or exploring the wild moors and rugged coastline. The area boasts hundreds of beautiful sandy bays to choose from and fantastic surfing opportunities. The historic cities of Exeter, Bath and Gloucester are definitely worth a visit, and with transport links all the way down to Penzance even the famous Lands End and remote Isles of Scilly can be reached.
