Overview
The fabulous HollyTrees is a luxury home in Kingsbridge. This property has been lovingly restored and stylishly updated for the modern family. With a hot tub in the south facing garden which receives the sun all day this is a great celebratory property for friends and families. Kingsbridge is a beautiful market town and the property is located within a 5 minute walk down to the embankment where you can take walks along the estuary and enjoy a meal in the pub by the water. You can also find an array of local shops, cafes and restaurants to explore during your stay. Kingsbridge is centrally located to many local beaches such as Thurlestone Sands and Bantham. The town is also within easy driving distance of many of the other tourist towns such as Dartmouth and Salcombe.

Entrance Hall

When entering the property you are greeted by a spacious hall way which is light and airy and provides plenty of storage there is also a bench for putting your shoes on. Once in the main hallway you will notice the feature wall which is known as the 'Libary Wall' full of books and games that you can use for entertainment during your stay. A cloakroom can also be located off the entrance hall. This room includes a WC and a washbasin and is a great addition for when family or friends are visiting.

Kitchen/dining
A light and airy kitchen with vaulted ceilings and a central oversized store island. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Miele dishwasher, full larder size fridge and freezer, Miele induction hob, double sink with boiler tap and all the essential appliances to ensure a comfortable stay. The kitchen also has a walk in pantry with a coffee machine and storage for all of your holiday food and wines. This is the perfect kitchen for a keen chef!
There is a wooden dining table with six chairs and a bench benefiting from the views of the garden. This spacious room has bi-folding doors which lead directly out onto the terrace area and garden, with a Sonos system that covers the kitchen and terrace this is the perfect escape to relax and unwind in and perfect for alfresco dining.
There are five bar stools around the island in the kitchen to enjoy a drink whilst watching the flat screen TV or your supper being prepared. Velux windows in the kitchen are controlled by a sensor pad, they will close automatically when it rains. From this room there is also a back door that leads out to the car port.

Living
The living area is a beautifully stylish room with a Scandinavian theme throughout, there is a large corner sofa and a flat screen TV with surround sound system, great for those family movie nights. This room has a double sided fireplace which can also be seen from the kitchen and is a stunning feature in this elegant property. (Please note that the fire place is unavailable during the summer months).In the hallway you can find a statement library wall which is packed with a large selection of board games and books. Gather the family around the coffee table and enjoy games nights after a busy day exploring the South Hams. This light and airy room has sliding doors which lead out onto the terrace area where you can find the hot tub, this is great for enjoying those summer night skies and a glass of wine.


Sleeping
The property sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 light, spacious and well equipped bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King-size bed and views that look out into the garden. The master bedroom also has a large walk in wardrobe, every girls dream and there is plenty of storage here for all of your holiday belongings. Bedroom 3 and 4 again are both light and spacious and both contain double beds with plenty of storage space. The final bedroom is great for children and contains a bunk bed with a bookshelf and a selection of childrens books and toys. These large and accommodating rooms all contain black out blinds.

Bathroom
The luxury marble en-suite in the master bedroom is light and spacious and contains a walk in double rain shower, toilet, a double washbasin and a heated towel rail. The family bathroom is fully tiled with a heated mirror, large shower, freestanding bath., washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.

Utility room/Boot room

This is a generous size room which is located off the entrance hall. This room contains a Miele washing machine, tumble dryer, heated towel rail, sink and plenty of drying space for your wet clothes. This room acts as a great addition when returning from a day at the beach or out exploring the South West Coast Path.

Outside
This spectacular property benefits from a private enclosed garden which catches the sun all day long, a selection of mature trees and a large lawn area with a spacious ceramic tile patio area. The garden has the luxury of a hot tub which comes equipped with all the mod cons such as lights and whirl pool jets. The hot tub is solely for guests to enjoy and is brilliant for making the most of your holiday evenings under the stars. The terrace area also picks up the Sonos system and has exterior lighting, these fantastic touches have all been put in place to ensure you have a brilliant and memorable stay. If you fancy a BBQ one evening then you can find a Komodo Joe BBQ in the garden which again is available for guests to use throughout their stay. With a table and chairs with seating for up to 8 guests and a wooden parasol you can make the most of many family BBQ's during your stay. Tucked away in one corner of garden is a large trampoline with a full safety net providing excellent entertainment for children. A herb garden has been planted for guests to pick and enjoy in cooking or a cocktail.

Parking
The Property has a private car port which provides parking for up to 3 cars. There is a rack for hanging wet suits after a day at the beach and a selection of buckets, spades available for guests to borrow during their stay. As well as all of this the property has an outside shower which is fabulous after a day at the beach.

LocationDevon

From Tavistock and the rivers Tavy and Tamar to the English Riviera of Torbay, and the nautical town of Dartmouth north across Dartmoor (with its famous miniature ponies) to the surfing beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe, there can be few counties in England that offer such a broad spectrum of experiences to the visitor. 

Located in the South Westerly reaches of England, Devon shares a southerly border with Cornwall, and an easterly border with Somerset and Dorset. To the north and south the Bristol and English channels provide miles of beautiful coastline, and numerous attractions to the county. 

Areas of Oustanding Natural Beauty (5), National Parks (2) and many other parks and reserves make it very easy to get off the beaten track, but the cities of Plymouth and Exeter are as modern and vibrant as they come.

Inland are a number of country landscapes to explore; Tarka Country to the north, taking its name from a famous novel, offering the Tarka Trail; a fantastic cycle route through the beautiful country landscapes. Centrally, Dartmoor National Park is the largest open space in South England, and offers miles of rugged and wild moorland for keen walkers to explore.

Dartmoor Zoological Park is situated on the edge of the moor. The zoo is the inspiration behind a Hollywood film, and home to an impressive range of exotic animals. Along the south coast is the spectacular Jurrasic Coast World Heritage Site, reaching from Exmouth along into Dorset, and offering a spectacular coastline to discover.

Further south along the coast is the borough of Torbay, home to some of Devon’s most popular seaside resorts and tourist spots, and known as the English Riviera. Devon’s county town is the attractive city of Exeter, offering a mix of historical and modern architecture and culture. To the south is the University City of Plymouth, a historic port, and home to The Hoe, a popular public open space offering a range of attractions.   

Devon is the third biggest county in the UK by area, but it's quite easy to get around. In population, it is only the twelfth largest, so it's really not very crowded! Geographically and in spirit quite unlike the neighbouring counties, Devon is characterised by the granite structure that forms Dartmoor rising out of its distinctive red soil, and the very different Devonian rock structure underlying Exmoor. The Devonian geological period was actually named after Devon since it was here that these rocks were first studied. 

South West

England’s peninsula incorporates the counties of Cornwall and Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Bristol. This region is mostly rural so is perfect to escape the everyday hustle and bustle, whether relaxing with the family by the seaside or exploring the wild moors and rugged coastline. The area boasts hundreds of beautiful sandy bays to choose from and fantastic surfing opportunities. The historic cities of Exeter, Bath and Gloucester are definitely worth a visit, and with transport links all the way down to Penzance even the famous Lands End and remote Isles of Scilly can be reached.
