Description

The Property is a great holiday home for both families and friends to enjoy. Its voluminous entertaining space and fabulous kitchen cannot fail to impress. The kitchen/dining room is well equipped with two fridge/freezers, a wine cooler fridge, a range cooker and three eating spaces – so that’s breakfast, lunch and dinner sorted!  The sitting room has a woodburner to cosy round on colder days and includes an upright piano if the mood takes you. In the conservatory there are steam loungers for relaxing or evening star-gazing. There is also a children’s playroom with a games console, TV and additional games.  The master bedroom suite has a large panoramic window with views over the surrounding countryside and the remaining bedrooms are comfortable and spacious.  The lovely garden at the rear of the house has space for everyone to let off steam where you will also find a small tree house, covered pond and the owners have supplied garden games. Use the hammock to while away summer days with a good book and a glass of wine.  This is a super house to chill out in for a relaxing holiday and its location offers you the best of Norfolk on a plate – literally – as you can purchase locally brewed ales, fresh eggs and garden produce from the farm next door. Buxton is located in an area of Norfolk that gives easy access to so many different aspects of the county.  You can find fishing close by on the River Bure and the landscape under the big blue Norfolk sky is a joy for cyclists and walkers. Take a walk along Marriot's Way and at the picturesque market town of Aylsham, pick up a ride on the Bure Valley Railway narrow gauge steam railway for an 18 mile round trip through ancient pasture, meadowlands and Broadland villages. The Broads National Park is to the south; explore being out on the water, walk the local footpaths and don’t forget the picnic. The childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Blickling Hall is 5 miles away and the other important historic houses of Felbrigg Hall and Holkham Hall should not be missed.  The city of Norwich, just 10 miles to the south is full of history, café culture, cinemas and theatres and is good for a spot of retail therapy too.  If you have enough energy left, then don’t forget to take in the sandy, east coast beaches which even in the summer are often undiscovered and underpopulated.
