Description

The Property is a traditional Gower longhouse, set in an idyllic, quiet location, yet just a 5 minute walk from the village of Llanmadoc. The village boasts an 18th century gastro-pub 'The Britannia Inn' which was recently voted 'Best Pub in West Glamorgan'. The area has many beautiful coastal and rural walks from the cottage, with the North Gower beaches of Whiteford (and its' lighthouse) and Broughton reached via a pretty walk through Cwm Ivy woods.

The village also has a bustling community shop which doubles as a cafe and Weobley Castle is approximately a 5-10 minutes drive away.

Guestbook

Brooklands cottage is an absolutely beautiful property. It is finished to a very high standard throughout with a particularly well designed kitchen and excellent bathrooms. It is spacious and certainly plenty big enough for our group of 6 adults. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, we stayed in the summer but I can imagine it being really cosy in the autumn or winter months. The surrounding countryside and beaches are stunning. A great base for exploring the Gower Coast and surrounding areas. If you stay here, make sure that you pay a visit to The Britannia in the village - great food. Can totally recommend a stay in this cottage. -
"This is a gorgeous cottage in an incredible setting, within walking distance of a decent pub and surprisingly well stocked village shop (great wines!) and with lots of beautiful locations an enjoyable trek or short drive away. The kitchen is a great space for cooking and sharing meals in the evenings and the living room is perfect for a family film together. There's even a lovely lawn to play croquet on too! All the bathrooms were fab and very well designed - we particularly loved the big bath tub! All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future. " Ms Branch
