Nestled in border country, the pretty town of Kelso sits on the banks of the river Tweed, at its neeting point with the Teviot. If you have a few minutes spare whilst visiting, take a turn around the beautiful War Memorial Gardens, the formal gardens are well maintained and a peaceful and tranquil place.
