Kingussie is located in the region of Strathspey and Badenoch on the western side of the Cairngorm National Park. This area is popular with anglers as the river Spey runs past, and it is also a hotspot for walkers and cyclists. For golfers there is Kingussie golf course, which is a good 18-hole parkland course.
