The Trail is a fully way-marked walk of 64 miles (103 km) and it takes its name from the feared cattle thieves who raided the rich lands of Strathardle, Glenshee and Glenisla. The neighbouring Angus Glens of Glen Clova, Glen Prosen, Glen Doll and Glen Esk also offer numerous Munros and trails. The small town of Dunkeld is also worth a visit with its historic cathedral, riverside walks, and the Hermitage, which boasts impressive waterfalls.
