Description

Blairgowrie 16 miles. This beautiful detached cottage rests on a remote lane in Kirkton of Glen Isla, a hamlet near Blairgowrie, and is ideally suited for exploring the local area and beyond. The Property is perfect for couples or a group of people travelling, ideal as a homely base to begin your adventures or simply spend some quality time together. Arrive into the modern kitchen, with its light and airy feel continuing through to the comfortable lounge housing a selection of seating, great for making yourselves at home in front of the woodburning stove, with ample warmth spreading to the dining table situated in the corner of the room. Choose from two sun rooms for a change of scenery, one can be accessed via the first bedroom, whilst the second follows on from the living area. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to relaxing, and the bedrooms are equally as impressive. Comprising of two spacious super king-size doubles, matching each other in style, the first benefits from a wonderful en-suite bathroom, and the second has a lovely en-suite shower room. After readying yourself for the day, why not spend an afternoon in the enclosed garden, perhaps enjoying a barbecue with your friends. Home to a variety of shops and restaurants, the village makes a lovely spot for exploring Perthshire, the beautiful Angus Glens, and is an excellent gateway to the Highlands with things to do for everyone. Glenisla is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers with the circular Cateran Trail passing by the cottage door. The Trail is a fully way-marked walk of 64 miles (103 km) and it takes its name from the feared cattle thieves who raided the rich lands of Strathardle, Glenshee and Glenisla. The neighbouring Angus Glens of Glen Clova, Glen Prosen, Glen Doll and Glen Esk also offer numerous Munros and trails. The small town of Dunkeld is also worth a visit with its historic cathedral, riverside walks, and the Hermitage, which boasts impressive waterfalls. From a range of scenic walks, to cycling or a visit to the local pub, there is something for everyone in this diversified part of Scotland. EPC Rating: Band F
