Alyth is located off the A926 road from Blairgowrie to Kirriemuir in the eastern section of Perthshire. Within this friendly town can be found some local shops and hotels, with a larger supermarket available in Blairgowrie. For walkers, the Cateran Trail, offers many longer walks, whilst golfers can choose from the two courses at the Strathmore Golf Centre.
Alyth is a small historic town with a square as its central point, just off the A926 road from Blairgowrie to Kirriemuir, on the south side of the Hill of Alyth. Located in the eastern section of Perthshire close to the Angus boundary, this area is well known for soft fruit growing, with an abundance of strawberries and raspberries available in the summer months. The Strathmore golf centre on the edge of the town offers two courses to choose from, whilst at Blairgowrie, the more well-known Rosemount is very popular.
