Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and is one of the iconic European cosmopolitan cities and consequently a major destination for groups from around the world. The city is known for being a centre in education with four universities in the area, but also enjoys some UNESCO acclaims, being a City of Literature, and with parts being World Heritage Sites.
