Exquisitely renovated by the owners, this wonderful all-year-round retreat promises a revitalising getaway for anyone looking to explore Somerset or just wanting to kick their shoes off and unwind.

Relax in style in the large sitting room where you can snuggle under blankets on the sofas and enjoy a movie-night on the large TV.

Or just spend some quality time together with family and friends whilst you warm your toes in front of the large inglenook fireplace.

Make the most of the enormous oak dining room table to gather for a delicious evening meal, or play a board game on those quieter nights, with a wood-burning stove to keep you nice and warm. Furnished to a high-standard, the large kitchen has all modern appliances, with a large breakfast bar and gorgeous high-stools to enjoy a hearty breakfast whilst planning the day ahead.

Throw open the French doors and the kitchen opens into an impressive courtyard, with a large inglenook fireplace, where you can dine alfresco as the sun slowly sets. Once the evening draws to a close, choose to retire to one of the six well-appointed and delightful bedrooms, two of which are family rooms and mostly consist of king-size beds. The bedrooms have plenty of storage space and share two large family bathrooms, both with walk-in showers, and baths where you can soak your muscles and relax after the day’s activities.

The master bedroom is particularly special as it features a king-size bed plus a unique single bed, with steps leading up to a mezzanine area which contains two further single beds; ideal for your little ones to have a tree-top adventure.

Bath House is the perfect location for rambling adventures and cycling routes, for spotting the local wildlife or simply to breathe in the fresh country air.

Make sure to find time to go fairy-spotting in the nearby Enchanted Wood!

While you're in the area make the most of the Levels and take the short drive to the ancient and bustling market town of Langport where you can purchase all the essentials needed for your self-catered stay in one of the many independent shops.

Visit the Little Bakery with breads and cakes freshly baked on the premises, step back in time and call into the Langport Stores, or pop next door to the Art Tea Zen café for even more homemade delicacies.

Langport also hosts a metro-Tesco, bicycle and boat hire plus an indoor 25m swimming pool.

The Ninesprings Country Park is within reach and spans across 20-acres, the perfect place for an adventure or to spend a day unwinding with your four-legged friend. For a spot of history, you can wander around the National Trust property of Montacute House, dating back to the Elizabethan period.
