Fowey town, accessible to most parts of Cornwall, possesses a wealth of charm, it offers plenty to keep you occupied with a selection of fine restaurants to choose from. The local, sheltered sandy beach at Readymoney Cove is within easy walking distance or why not while away the hours browsing the shops combined with lunch on the quay…. The foot ferry takes you across the river to Polruan where you can pick up the coastal path to Lantic Bay - don’t forget to pack your camera, these views are off the scale! We spent our first week out of lockdown in Aldford House, what a wonderful experience! The owner was very helpful. The house itself is beautiful and recently refurbished, I can honestly say I haven't stayed in a better decorated/designed holiday home, beautiful furniture, art work and colour schemes all make this a beautiful stay. The view are just amazing, we spent each morning with a cup of tea watching the comings and goings on the water from the comfort of our bed/window seat! Thank you to The Owner! -
