The local area around the property is great for walking so you can set off from your doorstep and explore the likes of Whinfell Beacon and Whinfell Tarn, and Grayrigg Forest. Make a trip to the epic 14th century Sizergh Castle with large grounds to explore, or enjoy family fun at Lakeland Maze Farm Park for animal encounters, go-karts and a maize maze.
