Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!
We have just returned home after a lovely week in Southwold House with our large family including two children. It certainly lived up to the description on the website! It's a beautiful property with a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms with excellent bedding and towels and in an enviable position close to the seafront, beach and town centre. - Angela W. The decor is beautiful, enhanced by the attention to detail, lots of pictures etc. The large kitchen, very well equipped. Very comfortable lounge plenty of seating. The master bedroom is delightful, so spacious, and well appointed. Every room is furnished to a high standard. Bedding is very good, lovely, good sized soft towels.
