This holiday property within 2-acre grounds, retains many original features, but is also equipped with a hot tub and sauna. Lying peacefully in a secluded location with magnificent views over the rolling countryside, this charming, detached, 18th century former coach house makes a perfect holiday base for families or groups who are looking to explore the rugged mountains and enchanted sites of mid Wales.

The restoration has been carried out sensitively to enable the property to retain all of its original attractive features including stone walls and oak beams, plus welcoming touches have been added such as a woodburner to provide a wonderful ambience for cosy nights in.  It has been tastefully decorated throughout with oak furnishings, a contemporary-style kitchen and en-suite bathrooms and has wifi.

Outside, guests can relax in their private hot tub and sauna, where they can unwind after spending days out on adventures, whilst watching the red kites and peregrine falcons soar over the magnificent scenery.

Living room with French doors/dining room with tiled floors. Woodburner. Kitchen with beams and tiled floor. Well equiped wtih electic cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer. In the Utility room is a tumble dryer and washing machine.  The games room has a football table.  There are three freeview TVs in the house, DVD's and a Stereo/CD player. 

3 bedrooms: 2 double (6ft), one with en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and toilet, one with en-suite shower room with double shower cubicle and toilet, 1 bunk.  Separate toilet.

FIRST FLOOR
5 bedrooms: 3 double, one with en-suite shower cubicle and toilet, two with additional double sofa bed (one with beams), 2 twin.  All rooms with wooden floor.  2 bathrooms with shower attachment and toilet.

There's a large garden with patio, a sitting-out area and furniture.  The property is set wtihin 2-acre grounds and there's ample parking for guests. The garden is sloped. 


LOCAL AREA

For a family time together, explore the rugged Cambrian Mountains and discover the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey or visit the Cors Caron Nature Reserve, which offers an abundance of walks amidst flourishing wildlife, including birds of prey, fish and the occasional otter.  Just a stone’s throw away, are the charming market towns of Lampeter and Tregaron, both rich with Welsh culture and offering a collection of traditional Welsh pubs, tasteful restaurants and elegant gift shops.  A short drive away lays the dramatic Ceredigion coastline, which features the pretty coastal towns of New Quay and Aberaeron, set within their tranquil fishing harbours where bottlenose dolphins can be seen on a clear day.  Horse riding nearby.

LocationMid Wales

This is the go to place for outdoor enthusiasts to make the most of the fantastic walking, riding & cycling opportunities, especially in the Cambrian Mountains National Park. The Ceredigion Coastal Path features numerous trails to choose from depending on how far you wish to travel. Whether for a full walking holiday or just a stroll along the cliffs to a village pub, this unspoilt route is perfect and has views out across the famous Cardigan Bay which is home to the UKs largest pod of dolphins.

Dotted along the Wales-West England border are lots of lovely market towns, many of which have their own castle. This disputed ground has a large number of Roman and Norman medieval fortresses, today some are only ruins or just the earthen works remain however there are plenty which have restored to their former glory and are open to visitors.

Mid Wales also just touches on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, a popular mountain range for exploring caves, forest activities and other more extreme outdoor sports such as rock climbing and abseiling. A number of historic railways mean other regions of Wales are easily accessible for a day trip, and make for an enjoyable way to travel and take in the sights.
