The small traditional holiday town of Largs can be found on the west coast of Scotland, overlooking the Firth of Clyde. The town features an attractive Victorian promenade, testament to its historic architectural heritage.

To the east of the town you will find the fringes of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, great walking country and abundant with interesting wildlife. The town of Largs is most famous for its dramatic Viking history, and you can learn more on this in the town’s interactive multimedia experience, Vikingar! The site includes swimming facilities and soft play for the tots, so is a real attraction for the whole family.

There are two courses in the town for golfers to whet their appetite, and no trip to this neck of the woods would be complete without a visit to the nearby Kelburn Castle and Country Centre. The kids will love the playbarn, secret forest and adventure courses.
