The scattered village of Bronygarth is situated in the Ceiriog Valley and lies on the Offa's Dyke Path, the boundary between England and Wales. Just across the River Ceiriog is the magnificent 14th century Marcher Fortress of Chirk Castle with its award-winning gardens, medieval tower and dungeon. The small border town of Chirk is referred to as "The Gateway to Wales" and offers pubs, restaurants, a village store, gift shop, canal boat marina and an excellent golf course.
