The Property is an historic Grade II listed holiday house set in the heart of the Burford. Internally, the house is charming and beautiful; and with accommodation spread across four floors it is lavished with space! The bedrooms upstairs are similarly roomy and with great views. Original flagstone floors, wonky beams and large open fire places mixed with modern flair make this an exceptional home. The huge 'kitchen diner' is the real heart of the home and we loved it! Heavenly! If you want to be in the Cotswolds' most recognisable location and in one of the finest large holiday cottages, then this is the choice for you.
ACCOMMODATION Entrance to the plot is via the large original 'Coach doors' through to an enclosed courtyard which leads to a large garden and the house itself. Entrance to the house is through to the kitchen. Kitchen, beautiful room with large country-style dining table, surrounded by modern kitchen facilities; 5 ring gas range, double oven and grill, microwave and dishwasher, plus iPod and cd player. The dining table can comfortably seat 12 people. There is a separate Utility Room with two large fridges and Butler sink, plus washing machine. Please note that there is a tumble dryer in the basement too. Cloakroom with WC and washbasin. Living Room with open fire, two large sofas, additional armchairs, flatscreen TV, DVD player, Freeview and ipod dock.
Basement The house has a second living room which has another TV and DVD player, plus Nintendo Wii player (some games) making it ideal for either children to watch their own programmes or as a place for games!
First Floor - All bedrooms are spacious. Master Bedroom with King Size double bed (5ft) wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV, Ensuite Bathroom with bath, separate shower, two washbasins and WC. Bedroom Two with two single beds, wardrobe and chests of drawers. The beds can be made together to make a super king size double bed.
