Step off the famous Sheep Street in the heart of Burford, into The Property and what you will find is an exceptional Cotswolds' home, full of charm, character and oozing an understated style. A handsome building that literally puts a smile on your face from the moment you walk through the door, this is one that families will especially enjoy. Large windows let the light flood in throughout the house, where there are two large living rooms (both with open fires) and an attractive kitchen/diner, while upstairs via the grand stairs are four bedrooms each spacious and beautifully furnished. The owners are veritable book lovers, so guests will have plenty to relax with, if indeed you haven't chosen to pop to Huffkins for a famous lardy cake or to one of the traditional pubs, in fact about 20 yards from your front door is an excellent hotel bar call The Bay Tree! A magical Cotswolds house that is a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday or break. Even when we visited this house in the depths of winter we were totally bowled over by its gorgous feel. Heavenly!
Entrance through to hall with cupboard for coats etc. Living Room One, with large sash windows overlooking Sheep Street and Burford beyond, with open fire, two large sofas, TV and DVD with Sky package (not sports). Study Area with table and chair Kitchen / Dining Room, modern kitchen with Rangemaster induction hob, 5 rings, double oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer and washing machine. There are two doors, one to the internal countryard and one to the rear garden. The island unit has a breakfast bar with stools. The Dining Room has a large table with 8 chairs. Living Room Two (vaulted) is very large a spacious overlooking the garden; large sofa ample armchairs, open fireplace, TV, DVD player and Sky package (not sports). There is a door leading to steps down to the garden.
First Floor Bedroom One, double aspect overlooking the inner courtyard; with king size double bed (5ft) chest of drawers. Bedroom Two (Master Bedroom Suite) with king size double bed (5ft), chest of drawers, windows overlooking Sheep Street, and Ensuite Shower Room with WC and washbasin. Outside The house has an 'internal' courtyard with a table and chairs, additionally to the rear there is a large garden with further table and chairs. (Please note that there is a further 'elevated garden' which is out of bounds to guests). The garden has various steps within and therefore should be considered when your party includes very young children or adults who are less mobile.
