The Property is the sort of place where you arrive and never want to leave. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere, the character, comfort and charm give it a magical feel a truly unique sense that you are enjoying a one-off holiday home. Sitting in a timeless village in the heart of the Cotswolds, you are in the midst of the most attractive part of the region. You are just 10 mins drive from Burford and no more than 15 mins from notable places such as Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water giving you an excellent base for getting out and about. However, we suspect you won't want to leave this venerable old house - a proper home from home, where you will find some artfull touches to make it a one-off. There is little that this holiday home doesn't have, it has, amongst many other things: a pool, Sky Sports, multiple woodburners, a piano(!) a conservatory, an enormous garden (even a cutting flower garden for you to help yourself), three of the highest quality bathrooms we have EVER seen and enough rooms to keep everyone happy. The owner has the most wonderful taste and she has made this house unique, very much a home. Down the lane just 10 min walk away is a good local pub and about 10 mins drive away is The Wheatsheaf at Northleach (the best gastro pub in the Cotswolds reputedly). If Daylesford is your thing that's just 20 mins away. Of course this assumes you want to get out! For families, friends or groups this is OUTSTANDING choice of self catering accommodation. Heavenly!

There is a traditional country breakfast table with 6 chairs. Living Room / Snug with woodburner, sofa and armchairs, TV with Freeview and Sky sports and DVD player Drawing Room with woodburner, multiple sofas and armchairs, TV with Sky sports, DVD and video plus a piano Dining Room (no. 1) with oval antique dining table and upto 8 chairs Conservatory / Dining Room (no 2) overlooking the garden with large table and 8/10 chairs which you reach by passing through a simple but beautiful orangery with vines and plants.
First Floor (via stairs 1) Master Suite with super King size double bed (6ft), chest of drawers, luggage rack and view to gardens Ensuite Bathroom with large bath and a separate walk in shower, WC and washbasin and all with underfloor heating. Absolutely stunning.
First Floor (via stairs 2) Bedroom Two with king size double (5ft), clothes rail and luggage rack, a large bedroom with views across the fields. Bedroom Three* accessed via steep stairs from bedroom two, into a large room on the top floor. There are three single beds*. Bedroom Four, another attractive bedroom, with super king size double bed (6ft), wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table plus Ensuite Bathroom, gorgeous, with roll top bath, walk in shower wash basin and WC - and all with underfloor heating. Bedroom Five with two singe beds and a wardrobe Bathroom Three, another luxury bathroom with bath, power shower over, WC and wash basin and underfloor heating.
Outside The house has an enormous country garden to the rear. There is a terrace area to the side of the conservatory, There are various 'rooms' to the garden including a vegetable garden, topiary garden plus pool and pond. The pond is elevated and has fish within, but please ensure that children are NOT left unattended. Similarly with the pool, due care MUST be taken, it is walled and gated, but children must not be left unattended at the pool at any time. Please note that the pool is only available between May 10 and Sept 30 each year. There is ample off street parking.
