  • "The house was lovely and so well equipped, we have stayed in lots of houses in Polzeath and this one was the best equipped one."

Plenty of glasses, cutlery, big saucepans etc The only thing I would add is for instructions for the microwave! Lol! We didn’t know it was part of the top oven until one of our friends popped round and had seen it before so could tell us how to use it properly. But it really wasn’t an issue.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! Our apologies for the confusion with the microwave but are glad the issue was sorted in the end. We would love to welcome you back anytime in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "We had a great stay, as a group of 10 there was plenty of space for us all and enough bathrooms etc."

The location is excellent, only a 2 min walk to the beach, which was ideal. It was great that the owners had invested in garden furniture and a BBQ etc since some earlier reviews and the beds were all comfortable. The only thing that didn't work properly was the toaster, so it would be good to replace that, but otherwise it was all good. Perhaps you could also provide some plastic boxes in the utility room to help with the recycling of plastic/cans/card/glass throughout the week, as it doesn't really work to put that in one half of the bin when you have a group of that size. The builders next-door didn't really impact on our stay as we were out quite a bit during the day, despite the weather! All in all, it was a great week and we would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Rock Pipit. Thank you for letting us know about the toaster and the suggestion for a recycling box. We do hope that we get the opportunity to welcome you back to Cornwall in the future. • "We love this house and have stayed numerous times."

It’s one of our favourite properties. The kitchen refurb is great! the Building works next door (cutting and building walls) were at times overbearing (during working hours - the builders leave at 4pm), as the build is close to the boundary fence,, the builders play music (stereo outside) and walk around the scaffolding overhead close to the boundary (and outdoor shower is overlooked). They were however friendly. When doors and windows are shut the noise (apart from machinery is is very muted. It just meant that we couldn’t comfortably hang outside at times. It’s a 5 star stay apart from the building works.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are so glad you enjoyed the property and we do hope to welcome you back to North Cornwall again soon. John Brays on behalf of the owners. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Rock Pipit and found the property to be slightly better than expected as the photos seem old and don’t do it justice."

For example the lounge is much nicer than the photo with more furniture and more homely looking in general. It’s in a great location with parking and useful facilities such as an outdoor shower and two dishwashers that proved to be really handy. We were aware that there was only two sun loungers and two picnic tables present but if there was decent garden furniture provided such as a proper table and chairs and/or sofa etc. it would be make this property much more appealing in our opinion. The only downsides were the lack of hand soap - not one in any of the four toilets/bathrooms, which in the current climate is a bit odd. And despite numerous comms to John Bray, Bedroom 3 was still made as a double instead of two singles as requested. We did however appreciate the contact from them when they originally thought there could be building work taking place next door, which thankfully turned out to be a false alarm. Regardless, we were grateful for the heads up. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, it is great to hear you enjoyed your stay at Rock Pipit. The pictures have now been updated, we hope to welcome you back soon! - John Bray Cornish Holiday's on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

We had a fabulous week. We would rent it again but have no firm dates for next year yet so will have to take our chance when we are ready to commit
