We travelled out daily for day trips and ideal location. It was spotless and ideally equipped. Very spacious outside for dogs and enclosed area at the back for safety. It was very warm and heating mat meed adjusting now for the clocks going back

  • "Great house, very well appointed everything you need."

Beautifully comfortable beds. It would be even better if it had a downstairs toilet. Great pity that the conservatory isn’t in Use. We were a party of 10 and everyone agreed on the above.

  • "Great house."

There was 4 couples, 4 kids and a dog, and the accommodation was perfect for us. Kitchen and dining room are massive and great. And the fridge dispenses ice and cold water! All the double bedrooms are good size and comfortable. The play park for the kids was great. The view from the front is super looking over to the sea. The beach is a thirty minute walk, and is lovely and sandy. Harlech and Barmouth are ten mins down the road. Really nice. No one complained or whinged about anything, which is very unlike my family who love to pick fault. Great holiday place. Thank you.

  • "We had a great stay and enjoyed the property enormously."

That said, we mis-read the details where 6 bathrooms are stated, however one of the en-suites does not include a shower/bath, so two rooms have to share the bathroom. Also the occupier of one of the twin rooms complained about the uncomfortable bed, and the lack of spare toilet rolls. Also there were very limited kitchen disposable supplies but more than sufficient glasses/crockery/cooking implements. Overall very good. Would return.

  • "What a lovely place."

It comfortably accommodated our large family plus our dogs. There was plenty of space and every room was thoughtfully done and very comfortable. The view from the house were amazing and it was a perfect place for our whole large family to get together!

  • "We had a wonderful stay here and were within reaching distance of the slate mines, Zipworld, and Harlech Castle."

Plenty of space for 9 young men who made great use of the BBQ and could all fit around the kitchen table and in the living room! Highly recommend this and really reasonably priced for large groups and big families. Felt very grand and was very comfortable, thanks for having us!

  • "The house is gorgeous and very well furnished and equipped."

Our only problem was the cooker in that it was really hard to understand how to get it to work! The tumble drier was a bit sporadic in whether it worked or not! But the owners were very proactive and helpful in trying to help us get things going. Fabulous position in a wonderful part of the country

Would love a hot tub on the property as a suggestion for improvement it would’ve just really topped off our stay. Lovely property, lovely location, friendly owner

  • "Fabulous accomodation."

Morris was helpful, there if we needed him, but unobtrusive. It is a very special house amazing views and handy for the local shop. Very spacious well equipped, I usually take my own pans but no need. Beds were comfy and it was spotlessly clean. We were a family of 12 and we had lots of room. We loved our stay and will definitely be rebooking.

We again found the facilities to be exceptional and had a wonderful few days even though the weather was a bit grim, but it didn’t stop a few of our group from having a dip in the sea on New Years Day (Brrrrrrrrrrrr) We hope to return for a 3rd visit in future

  • "Fantastic stay at Ael Y Bryn, would definitely recommend."

The kitchen and dining room were particularly lovely, and the entire property was clean and felt very welcoming. Rooms were a great size and easily accommodated all 10 adults for cooking, eating, sitting in living room together etc. The location is also great, only about 20 mins walk from a lovely beach. It was private enough whilst also having amenities like a Spar shop close by. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay.

  • "We stayed at Ael y Bryn for a small family vacation."

The property was in great condition (just refurbished) and excellent for entertaining with the spacious dining room / kitchen and the gas BBQ on site. The view from the front of the property over the coast was amazing. Location is great for access to beaches (Barmouth, Harlech, Shell Island etc) and we managed to have a great week with the weather which made our stay all the better. We would definitely stay here again. Morris (owner) lives just next door & was hospitable and helpful for any queries we had.

And the sunset views from the front door over the sea and mountains were just amazing. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for 12 people and the bedrooms were really comfortable. We hired the house for a farewell get-together of friends as we are emigrating but we really didn't want to leave after 3 nights! Hopefully we can book again next time we visit the UK.

  • "House is good."

.but owner lives next door and always keep watching us what we are doing. Its bit annoying and uncomfortable for us and owner entering into the property without permission and when we ask him, he always saying he needs to fix something. There is a room which he can enter into the property from that room.. We always have a feeling that he is also entering when we are not yet home.

Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate you chose to breach your contract by bringing more guests with you than were permitted. My insurance only provides protection for 12 people, not 16 like you had in your group. It is the first time in my 15 years of property letting I have had to ask guests to leave early. I live in the property next door but would only ever enter the property with the customers knowledge, and certainly never enter the property whilst customers are not in situ.” Property Owner
