  • "A really lovely house in the perfect location for exploring Stratford-upon-Avon"

  • "We were a family party of 6 meeting half way from each other in Stratford to celebrate an early Christmas."

The house is spacious and very well presented. The owner came round extremely quickly to help us when we contacted her with a query about the heating. We were able to cook a full Christmas dinner and we could seat all 6 of us (and more if needed) in the dining room, and also at the extendable kitchen table. We were able to park two cars at the space at the back, and used the parking voucher provided for the third car which once was parked outside was not needed again until we left. The house is within easy walking distance of all that Stratford has to offer, so no parking problems. We hope we can do this again next year!

  • "For 6 mature friends meeting up for a weekend break & picking Stratford upon Avon as our destination we couldn’t have chosen a better family property for our stay with all the amenities that one could hope for."

Clean and well presented, Summer House is in a quiet residential street and is just a short stroll to the sights & restaurants.

  • "The location of this house is fantastic, with us being able to easily walk into town."

The ability to park three cars was really helpful, but make sure you follow the instructions to locate the two rear spaces! There was plenty of cutlery and crockery for everyone, and kitchen equipment and utensils to cook. The dishwasher was also well used! The house was nice and warm with plenty of hot water. The rooms upstairs and downstairs were bigger than expected and equipped with everything we needed. The one single bedroom is small, but not a problem for one person. The three bathrooms, one on every floor, were also a big help for the family of 10 that we were for our weekend stay, aged from 7 months to 90 years old. The availability of a cot and highchair also helped us a lot. Unfortunately a wet November weekend didn't give us the opportunity to use the garden, but I can see it is a great facility for the summer months. There are a few places that need a touch of paint, like the stairs, but a small detail like this isn't going to take away from a great house in a fantastic location and we would definitely book again.

  • "The front entrance."

Wild overgrown garden, porch full of outside debris. This made us look more at the door which didn't have the upkeep. Yale lock did not double lock on the outside. Back entrance. You tube video out of date, so not necessary. There was limited turning area due to the neighbours having a fence which wasn't in the video. Gate very rickety and in need of attention. Kitchen and dining room. There were no curtains or blinds on windows and doors. Bedrooms. In some units there were bits, such as washers and other oddities like a hair! Beds and bedding were very comfortable and all past the goodnight test. The house did look quite clean, however when an old established cobweb was seen across the front room ceiling near the window, we did look closer. Surface cleaning had been done, however the thorough cleaning hadn't been done for quite some time, such as part of radiator thick with dust, and screw left at edge of carpet by skirting board. We felt this house came over as work in progress.

Thankyou for your comments; we take them all on board and are making continuous improvements to the property and your feedback really helps us to do this. We have a gardener that maintains the front garden regularly throughout the year and we have increased the frequency of his visits. There are curtains and blinds in all bedrooms and living rooms. We have remodeled the rear parking and there are now 2 free parking spaces and new fencing and gates have been installed. Together with visitor parking on street, guests can now have 3 free parking spaces on site plus guests can park more cars for free in the nearby residential area if needed. In terms of cleaning we have requested that the cleaning staff pay more attention to the details, and so far, we have had great results. Kind regards, The Owner. Property Owner

  • "Great location and the house had everything we needed."

My only criticism is the top floor shower room isn’t very private. We had only family In the house so that was ok for us.
