Description

This luxury property has been sympathetically restored to an exceptionally high standard, to provide an elegant, spacious and comfortable coastal holiday home. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped, modern kitchen which has everything supplied for creating a delicious meal for your party. The two dining areas with long tables, benches and chairs are perfect for socialising with your guests over home cooked feasts. For relaxation there’s a stylish sitting room with comfortable seating, piano (yes a piano!) and 70” Smart TV with Sky and Netflix. There’s also two bedrooms and a bathroom ideal for those preferring ground floor accommodation. On the first floor there are four further guest bedrooms and two bathrooms which are all beautifully decorated, with the master bedroom boasting fantastic views across to the sea. Most of the bedrooms offer Hypnos mattresses with luxurious pillow top comfort layer and anti-allergy fabric; ensuring a deep and restful night’s sleep. Within the garden, Outside you are spoilt for choice with private hot tub and comfortable seating on the decked area, sun loungers on the lawn, barbeque and garden furniture on the patio and the impressive “Beach Bar”, with bar and TV/Hi-Fi area.

The Property is ideally situated for cycling, walks either along the beach or via Paston Way, bird watching, pub lunches, or ice creams and cakes at one of the parish café’s. The Norfolk Broads and cultural city of Norwich are within easy driving distance making this a great location if you wish to explore further afield too. Don’t forget your four-legged friend either, with lots of walks directly on your doorstep, your pooch will have a great time too! Shop/Pub/Café: walking distance

Garden: Large enclosed garden with lawn/play area with sun loungers. Seating for 16+ people on patio and decking area and also a fire-pit. Covered lean-to area for the storage of guest items such as bikes, wetsuits, garden & beach toys etc. Tree hanging rope seat. Electric socket for charging mobile phones. Bench with storage for towels & muddy boots, tap & hose in the driveway area.

Barbeque: Very large propane gas griddle BBQ (push valve connector) within a covered shelter allowing for all year round outside cooking. Please note, guests are to leave the BBQ in a clean state ready for the next user as failure to do so may incur additional cleaning charges. Hot tub: Seating 6 with 2 jets, waterfall, multi-colour led lights and Bluetooth music system. There is no additional charge for the hot tub, however, if you don't want it then please mention this in the notes field when booking. The Beach Bar: This purpose built, rope-enclosed beach themed lodge contains a bar area with bar stools, optics for spirits, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, sink with hot and cold water, under counter fridge/freezer and plastic glasses. You can serve drinks to your fellow guests on the decking area via the serving hatch. Within the lodge you will also find a TV, Hi-Fi System, DVD Player and a Dart Board (remember your darts!). Parking: For 2 cars on driveway. Further free sign-posted parking within 1 minute on Abbey St. Heating: Gas Central Heating.  Pets: Two well behaved dogs welcome. Please be aware of our booking information regarding pets. Also Provided: Bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels). Wi-Fi. Welcome Tray. Hairdryers. Highchair, Travel cot and Stairgate. Four large chair style bean bags which can be used as additional seating in the lounge, bar or cabin.  Notes: This is a non-smoking property. Mobile signal: variable. No Stag or Hen Parties and no parties aged under 21.

Bacton is an excellent location for a seaside holiday, with a sandy beach, excellent for summer days on the sands or long walks in winter. There is a good range of local amenities including a dog friendly pub, shop, a children's playground, a local swimming pool for hire and bowling green. A traditional fish & chip shop and licensed cafés. Bacton Wood is perfect for a day out with nature whether you are on foot or cycle with three walking trails to choose from. There is plenty to discover in the area - to the north find Cromer and its iconic Pier with year-round shows, golf in Mundesley and tennis in North Walsham and to the south, find the famously striped Happisburgh lighthouse and the local seal colony at Horsey Beach; visit over the winter and you will see seal pups too. Inland, The Broads National Park with 125 miles of waterways to discover is within easy reach and the hinterland in this part of Norfolk also makes great cycling country. Culture vultures will enjoy a trip to Norwich, which is also within easy reach.
