Hop on the ferry which runs across the harbour to the neighbouring fishing village of Polruan. Charlestown is just a short drive away, and was one of the key locations where Poldark was filmed and is a well worth a visit. This stunning part of Cornwall is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
