Description

A truly grand welcome awaits you at this former Victorian Gentleman's residence which sits proudly in its own grounds above the famous Waterloo Bridge in Betws Y  Coed. Just a stone's throw away from the centre of the village, The Property boasts large reception rooms with beautiful woodwork and is full of original features. Cosy up in front of the wood burning stove in the evening before retiring to your four poster and half tester beds for a really comfortable nights sleep. The property benefits from a lovely patio and rockery area, perfect for enjoying alfresco dining, or on cooler evenings the large kitchen table sits next to a welcoming Aga. This property is ideal for family and friends wishing to get together in comfort and style.

There is also The Property Bach, a two bedroom cottage next door to the main house which would suit extended groups or family members.

Guests may also enjoy free use of leisure facilities comprising of an indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, shower and changing facilities, a sauna, steam room and gym at the nearby Waterloo Hotel.

Ground Floor

Hallway - with ample room for coats and shoes.

Kitchen - large and bright room with french windows on to the patio area. High quality Smallbone kitchen units with granite worktops and Belfast sink. Fully equipped with 2 oven Aga, Siemens oven and microwave, dishwasher and fridge.

Dining room - large room with two original sash windows and high ceilings. Feature marble fireplace and period furniture. Large dining table and chairs and a sitting area next to the fire for after dinner drinks.

Sitting room - another large room with feature stone fireplace and wood burning stove. Ample comfortable seating and period furniture. TV and DVD player.

Playroom - featuring table football and various games to keep the younger members of the family entertained.

Utility room - washer / dryer, fridge / freezer and coat hooks.

Downstairs WC - consists of WC and basin.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1 is a beautiful en suite bedroom with original king size four poster draped bed, period dressing table, sofa and chair. Two large south facing original sash windows with stunning views. En suite bathroom consists of corner bath with overhead shower, basin and WC. There is also a walk in wardrobe.

Bedroom 2 is another stunning room with half tester feature double bed. The room has high ceilings and a feature wooden dresser, 2 chest of drawers, sofa and crib.

Bedroom 3 is a twin en suite room consisting of two single cast iron beds, wardrobe and feature fireplace (not in use). En suite consists of shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Bedroom 4 is a lovely double room with high ceilings and feature fireplace (not in use), dressing table, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Family bathroom consists of double ended bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Garden

Surrounded by 3/4 of an acre of terraced Victorian gardens consisting of lawn area, woodland and stream. Stunning views over the Lledr Valley and river. These areas are shared with The Property bach. There is a private patio area and summer house for the sole use of The Property with table and chairs.

Parking spaces for up to 4 cars on site. There is a BBQ (fuel not supplied) Guests may use the leisure facilities at the nearby Waterloo Hotel free of charge.
